Woman and Dragon

In May my company took us for a team building exercise to play the Escape Game.

It’s a game where a group will go into a room and you have an hour to gather all the clues to unlock the door and break out.  I was dreading going cause I hate these types of things and I was really tired but something told me I needed to go.  That day happened to be one of the peak days of my overwhelm and frustration.

On my way there I actually pulled off the side of the road and just started crying.  I felt God had put a prompting in my heart but I was overwhelmed with what I thought He was calling me to do.  I was crying out to Him a conversation that went like this: “Is this really what you want me to be doing and why?”  I don’t like to reading or sitting behind a computer.   The more I saw happening around me the heavier my heart got.  My brain felt like it was going to explode with all the research I was doing.   I felt like God was removing the scales from eyes for a purpose but I really wasn’t sure where it was going to lead.

I really just wanted some type of confirmation or sign from Him.  Well, He did just that and more.

I finally drug myself to the game.   They have 5 different rooms.   A different game in each room.   The team I was on got put in a room that contained a book called “Music City Babylon“ and one of the clues contained a bible verse.

ribbon LUKE 13:29
People will come from east and west and north and south, and will recline at the table in the kingdom of God.

I was not much help during the game.

I was standing there looking at all the interesting stuff in the rooms.

As time was running out,  there was a map hanging encased in a box with a silver ball at the bottom of the casing.  (Jesus, as you recall was betrayed for 30 pieces of silver)

The clue said “the shortest distance is a straight line”

So we were supposed to use the magnet to drag the ball, which was behind the map, and drag it across to each of the four different cities.  There wasn’t a line to follow on the map from city to city.  You just saw the destination.  It is next to impossible to draw a perfectly straight line without a guide.

They started trying to drag it but it kept dropping because they couldn’t keep a straight line and we would have to start all over again.

Time was running out, our team was frantically trying to figure out what to do, and I was just ready to go.

I finally saw a wooden board, which was a shelf that we had removed during the game, lying on the floor. I grabbed and put it up there for them to use as a ruler to guide the ball in a straight line.  It worked and the door opened.

We were the only team that actually “Escaped” in time.

I didn’t think much of it what had happened during the game until the next morning when I looked at that verse again.

I was honestly just glad that we were done and I could go home.

ribbon LUKE 13 : THE NARROW GATE

22And he went on his way through cities and villages, teaching, and journeying on unto Jerusalem. 23And one said unto him, Lord, are they few that are saved? And he said unto them,

24Strive to enter in by the narrow door: for many, I say unto you, shall seek to enter in, and shall not be able. 25When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, open to us; and he shall answer and say to you, I know you not whence ye are;

26then shall ye begin to say, We did eat and drink in thy presence, and thou didst teach in our streets; 27and he shall say, I tell you, I know not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. 28There shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and yourselves cast forth without. 29And they shall come from the east and west, and from the north and south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. 30And behold, there are last who shall be first, and there are first who shall be last.

It was in context of the Narrow Gate.

Just a couple of months prior to this work event I had created this site “NarrowGateEntrance” not really knowing what it would lead to.  I really named it that in hopes of figuring out what it truly meant and to figure out if I would be able to enter into it.

He has pulled me out of situations I have gotten into many times, but it was the first time in my life I felt like I was truly one of His.  He was showing me something during a time when I was truly trying to be obedient in my walk, instead of just another time where He was having to pull me out of a disaster.   He was giving me the confirmation that I felt like He had put in my heart.   He was confirming with me that I was taking the right path.   He was confirming to me that I was not losing my mind.   It showed me why I am here, why things that have happened to me the way they did, and why I have been put in the places I have been.   It showed me how everything connects and that when you slow down, and focus more on resting in His presence, you will notice what He is doing in your life.

It might sound strange but that day taught me to how to read bible.

I have pieced more things together in the bible by understanding the context and understanding how detailed God’s word is.

After that day when I read verses that I couldn’t understand, or that seemed to conflict with other passages, but when you look at the surrounding verses, it would remove all doubt of what the verse was implying in context.

The dropping of the ball and having to keep starting over until a guide was used, was His way of showing me that everything in the bible is built off the Law He handed down to Moses.  When I was reading the bible I started to realize I was constantly going back to the beginning to understand the meaning of what I was reading.  The Law at the beginning of the bible.  The spiritual house that Jesus built with Peter, was built on the foundation of the Stone Tablets given to Moses.  The Law of God.

Everything Jesus did was in accordance with fulfilling God’s Law.  Everything written in the bible builds off the foundation of God’s Law.  When you don’t know God’s Law, you can easily misinterpret the rest of the passages in the bible.

When Jesus was young, what did He do?  He went to the temple and they were blown away by His knowledge of the Torah.  He knew it, inside and out.  His foundation was immovable.

It was His way of showing me how He works.  It showed me that when I focus and think on His word, He will show the story He is weaving in your life.

Seek and you shall find.  Knock and it shall be open.

That weekend I went back to where I was born in Mississippi for a childhood friends wedding.  I was with my parents and we drove by the church we used to go to and I started having all these flashbacks and remember when I told my Dad I wanted to get baptized.  He took me in His car before church and before we got there He pulled off the side of the road and told me the significance of my decision that I was making.  I said I did, and that I wanted to give my life to Christ, but looking back I obviously didn’t fully understand what I was saying or understand the meaning of it.  I just felt in my heart that that’s what I wanted to do. As we kept driving around I continued having all these child hood memories flooding back to me.  Things I hadn’t remembered in 20 years.

I began to see how God has watched over me ever since my decision as a kid and the story he has weaved in my life.  Even though I failed miserably at following him, turned my back on him, he has always been there watching over me openly accepted me back with open arms.  His love and grace for me made me whole again.

My story of rebellion, divorce, losing a child, broken relationships, being healed, and returning to the father showed me who he truly is and is endless love for us.

DEUTERONOMY 28 : BLESSINGS OF OBEDIENCE
14And you shall not go aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.
These were the words of Moses to the Israelite’s during the Exodus from Egypt and their journey to the Promised Land.  Commanding them to keep the Narrow Path.  The Promised Land for us now is the Restoration of Eden with us and Eternal Life.

Just as I wasn’t of much help during the Escape Game, I haven’t been much of any help with furthering His Kingdom.

But as time is running out I pray I can help show people the door to escape.

Just like we had to keep starting over in the Escape Game because we could not keep a straight line.  We were turning to the right and left.  Until we used the board to keep us aligned, we had no hope of escaping.

My frustration with the bible and my lack of understanding was because I did not understand this :

ribbonIsaiah 28

9Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

10For precept must be on precept, precept on precept; line on line, line on line; here a little, and there a little:

Just like we had to keep starting over at the beginning in the escape game, I found myself constantly returning to the beginning of the bible to understand context of what I was reading in later books.

Everything in the bible is based of the law that God thundered down onto Mt. Sinai to Moses.

Everything after that is based on how His people either obedient with that law or disobedient and the consequences that resulted.

Precept upon precept.  Is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than one jot or tittle of the law to fail as you will see.

The Wooden Board I am holding up now, that will help guide you down the Narrow Path, to keep from wandering in the wilderness, to open the Door is this…

I pray by the end of reading this you will understand:

…what “the Marriage of the Lamb” means

…why Jesus had to come and die for our sins!

…how the 12 Tribes, the Law Given to Moses on Sinai, and what Jesus did for us are all connected

…how every single promise God gave us has come to pass and that you will put all of your hope and confidence in Him

…how the United States fits into God’s redemptive story

…how to prepare for what is to come

…what God’s redemptive plan from the beginning was, and how you fit in it

…how to pick up on the patterns He has left us in His word.

…that you will begin to see the story He has woven in your life.

Ecclesiastes 9

9The thing that has been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
10Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it has been already of old time, which was before us.

God wants to know He did everything for a specific reason.

He wants us to know that what to expect by what has happened before.

The Story has already been written.  The table is already set and He is inviting anyone and everyone.

We should always be living in constant preparation, but how much more so as we see the day approaching!

I know it is a lot of information, but I challenge you to read it.

I pray you will read with an open mind and verify everything I have written.   Test it to see if it lines up with scripture.  Pray and ask Him if these things are true.

There is simplicity in the Gospel.

You don’t have to be a self professed prophecy expert.

You don’t have to have an ivy league education.

You don’t have to be a scientist, a mathematician, or an astronomer

What has created more confusion among Christians

is technology, science, and numbers.

And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for mortar.

4And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach to heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad on the face of the whole earth. 5And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men built.6And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. 7Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. 8So the LORD scattered them abroad from there on the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. 9Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from there did the LORD scatter them abroad on the face of all the earth.

17And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt: 18But God led the people about, through the way of the wilderness of the Red sea: and the children of Israel went up harnessed out of the land of Egypt. 19And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him: for he had straightly sworn the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you; and you shall carry up my bones away hence with you. 20And they took their journey from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, in the edge of the wilderness. 21And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night: 22He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.

(Numbers 20:2-13)

1And all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, after their journeys, according to the commandment of the LORD, and pitched in Rephidim: and there was no water for the people to drink. 2Why the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said to them, Why chide you with me? why do you tempt the LORD? 3And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Why is this that you have brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst? 4And Moses cried to the LORD, saying, What shall I do to this people? they be almost ready to stone me. 5And the LORD said to Moses, Go on before the people, and take with you of the elders of Israel; and your rod, with which you smote the river, take in your hand, and go. 6Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock in Horeb; and you shall smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel. 7And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the chiding of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the LORD, saying, Is the LORD among us, or not?

25When they returned from spying out the land, at the end of forty days, 26they proceeded to come to Moses and Aaron and to all the congregation of the sons of Israel in the wilderness of Paran, at Kadesh; and they brought back word to them and to all the congregation and showed them the fruit of the land. 27Thus they told him, and said, “We went in to the land where you sent us; and it certainly does flow with milk and honey, and this is its fruit. 28“Nevertheless, the people who live in the land are strong, and the cities are fortified and very large; and moreover, we saw the descendants of Anak there. 29“Amalek is living in the land of the Negev and the Hittites and the Jebusites and the Amorites are living in the hill country, and the Canaanites are living by the sea and by the side of the Jordan.”

30Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses and said, “We should by all means go up and take possession of it, for we will surely overcome it.” 31But the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are too strong for us.” 32So they gave out to the sons of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The land through which we have gone, in spying it out, is a land that devours its inhabitants; and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great size. 33“There also we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak are part of the Nephilim); and we became like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.”

1Then all the congregation raised a loud cry, and the people wept that night. 2And all the people of Israel grumbled against Moses and Aaron. The whole congregation said to them, “Would that we had died in the land of Egypt! Or would that we had died in this wilderness! 3Why is the LORD bringing us into this land, to fall by the sword? Our wives and our little ones will become a prey. Would it not be better for us to go back to Egypt?” 4And they said to one another, “Let us choose a leader and go back to Egypt.”

1Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 2“Speak to the sons of Israel, and get from them a rod for each father’s household: twelve rods, from all their leaders according to their fathers’ households. You shall write each name on his rod, 3and write Aaron’s name on the rod of Levi; for there is one rod for the head of each of their fathers’ households. 4“You shall then deposit them in the tent of meeting in front of the testimony, where I meet with you. 5“It will come about that the rod of the man whom I choose will sprout. Thus I will lessen from upon Myself the grumblings of the sons of Israel, who are grumbling against you.” 6Moses therefore spoke to the sons of Israel, and all their leaders gave him a rod apiece, for each leader according to their fathers’ households, twelve rods, with the rod of Aaron among their rods. 7So Moses deposited the rods before the LORD in the tent of the testimony.

8Now on the next day Moses went into the tent of the testimony; and behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi had sprouted and put forth buds and produced blossoms, and it bore ripe almonds. 9Moses then brought out all the rods from the presence of the LORD to all the sons of Israel; and they looked, and each man took his rod. 10But the LORD said to Moses, “Put back the rod of Aaron before the testimony to be kept as a sign against the rebels, that you may put an end to their grumblings against Me, so that they will not die.” 11Thus Moses did; just as the LORD had commanded him, so he did.

12Then the sons of Israel spoke to Moses, saying, “Behold, we perish, we are dying, we are all dying! 13“Everyone who comes near, who comes near to the tabernacle of the LORD, must die. Are we to perish completely?”

Aarons had budded, bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds.  It was kept as a token against the rebels and murmuring and placed before the ark of the covenant.

1/11/40 Just before entering the promised land, God added a new covenant, to that which was given to the generation before.

The covenant that came to the first generation under Moses, were not so much the instructions, but the blessings and curses that would result pending the obedience or disobedience to the Law.

The Covenant at Moab was an expansion of the blessings and curses given at Horeb. Compare to what Moses says to the next generation:

Here Moses talks briefly about the added covenant being given to them.

25“When you father children and children’s children, and have grown old in the land, if you act corruptly by making a carved image in the form of anything, and by doing what is evil in the sight of the LORD your God, so as to provoke him to anger, 26I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that you will soon utterly perish from the land that you are going over the Jordan to possess. You will not live long in it, but will be utterly destroyed. 27And the LORD will scatter you among the peoples, and you will be left few in number among the nations where the LORD will drive you.

9Then Moses and the Levitical priests spoke to all Israel, saying, “Be silent and listen, O Israel! This day you have become a people for the LORD your God.10“You shall therefore obey the LORD your God, and do His commandments and His statutes which I command you today.”

1Now it came about after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD, that the LORD spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ servant, saying, 2“Moses My servant is dead; now therefore arise, cross this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them, to the sons of Israel. 3“Every place on which the sole of your foot treads, I have given it to you, just as I spoke to Moses. 4“From the wilderness and this Lebanon, even as far as the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and as far as the Great Sea toward the setting of the sun will be your territory. 5“No man will be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I have been with Moses, I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you. 6“Be strong and courageous, for you shall give this people possession of the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. 7“Only be strong and very courageous; be careful to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may have success wherever you go. 8“This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success. 9“Have I not commanded you? 28So one of the priests whom they had carried away from Samaria came and lived in Bethel and taught them how they should fear the LORD.  29But every nation still made gods of its own and put them in the shrines of the high places that the Samaritans had made, every nation in the cities in which they lived. 30The men of Babylon made Succoth-benoth, the men of Cuth made Nergal, the men of Hamath made Ashima, 31and the Avvites made Nibhaz and Tartak; and the Sepharvites burned their children in the fire to Adrammelech and Anammelech, the gods of Sepharvaim. 32They also feared the LORD and appointed from among themselves all sorts of people as priests of the high places, who sacrificed for them in the shrines of the high places. 33So they feared the LORD but also served their own gods, after the manner of the nations from among whom they had been carried away.  34To this day they do according to the former manner.  Becoming self satisfied and proud and had forgotten God’s grace.

Engaging in idolatry.

Trusting in human devices (kings, princes, and foreign covenants) rather than God.

This would describe us today, right down to the last detail.

Hosea is the perfect parallel between God and Israel, and Hosea and his wife.

Both were loving husbands of unfaithful wives.

Like a marriage partner, God is deeply involved in our lives and is pained when we go our own way.  He demands love and loyalty from His own.  We have failed to demonstrate this yet He stands ready to forgive and restore those who turn to Him in repentance.  In buying Gomer’s freedom, Hosea pointed ahead to God’s love perfectly expressed in Christ, who bought the freedom of His bride, the church, with His own life.

You would think with all that happened to the Northern Kingdom,  the Southern Kingdom would make it a lesson learned for themselves.

This return is confirmed in Nehemiah and Ezra.

It is here where we see who the King of Assyria sent to live in Sumeria.

They, the Southern Kingdom eventually returned after 70 years in Babylonian Captivity to Jerusalem.

Ephraim, The Northern Kingdom, however, never returned and rarely acknowledged as unified entity in scripture again, because they were eventually dispersed and never returned to Sumeria, like the Southern Kingdom returned to Judah.

So where did they go?
No one really knows.
As a whole they became truly lost.

ribbonDeuteronomy 24 : Law of Divorce

1When a man has taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favor in his eyes, because he has found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorce, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house. 2And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man’s wife. 3And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorce, and gives it in her hand, and sends her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her to be his wife; 4Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before the LORD: and you shall not cause the land to sin, which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance.

God divorced Israel | Ephraim | the Northern Kingdom.

God used the book of Hosea to metaphorically describe the husband wife relationship between Himself and Israel (the wife).

God divorced her, and according to His own law it states that it is an abomination to remarry who you divorced.
God said he would rescue the sheep He scattered.

Yet how can this be?

How can Yahweh search for his lost sheep after He has already divorced her?

Wouldn’t this break his own law?

His own law forbids the one who He divorced.

Are we looking at a do as I say, not as I do situation?
Another reason why God couldn’t remarry Ephraim is this:  A priest could only be a priest if he was a descendant of Aaron.
ribbon  LEVITICUS 21
14A widow, or a divorced woman, or profane, or an harlot, these shall he not take: but he shall take a virgin of his own people to wife.
If this is the case for priests, how much more so for God?

He was the first true High priest as He was the first to offer up a sacrifice for a Adam and Eve to atone for their sins.

Example of God being High Priest:
ribbon HEBREWS 5
4And no one takes this honor for himself, but only when called by God, just as Aaron was.  5So also Christ did not exalt himself to be made a high priest, but was appointed by him who said to him,  “You are my Son,  today I have begotten you”;
Jesus was a priest because He was God’s Son.

Just like a Levitical Priest through Levitical Priesthood had to be a descendant of Aaron.

Here we see Jesus is established as a priest first by being the Son of God.

What is it said of us regarding being priests?

Because we will be adopted as sons by God, the first High Priest.

This was a great mystery to all the priests and rabbis.

They wondered how can He remarry the very one He divorced and declared to have given herself over to prostitution.

God can not break the very righteous laws that define his own Righteousness.

Breaking the ‘Law of God’ is Sin.

The Law defines Sin according to God’s own words.

God cannot Sin.

How then can God remarry the lost sheep of Israel without breaking His own Law?

ribbon ROMANS 7 : RELEASED THROUGH DEATH
1Or do you not know, brothersa—for I am speaking to those who know the law—that the law is binding on a person only as long as he lives? 2For a married woman is bound by law to her husband while he lives, but if her husband dies she is released from the law of marriage.b
Paul goes onto say that we die in Christ, when we come into the faith.

Releasing both us and God from the requirement of the law as it relates to divorce and remarriage.

So Christ came down and died for the Lost Sheep in order to bring them back into the fold.
He came as the word, to die in our place.

The only way the covenant could be annulled was through death of either partner.

This was his goal, to die as the Son of God, to restore that which was lost.

When you die in him, you are dead to the sins of our disobedience.

If you live in him, you can be re-united with the Father.

But if you are not in him, you are still in the divorced state, considered dead in your sins, and you cannot be reunited with God, the first High Priest.

Would that not be enough to annul the covenant?  No.

This just left them dead in their sins and now out of the covenant with the Father because of those sins.

At the point of their rebellion they were no longer considered God’s sons anymore.

Circumcision represents covenant.

The prodigal son is Ephraim who was considered DEAD.

It wasn’t until the perfect son, Jesus, came and died as the son of God to annul the covenant.

He died in our place.

ribbon Exodus 4  :Moses Leaves for Egypt

18And Moses went and returned to Jethro his father in law, and said to him, Let me go, I pray you, and return to my brothers which are in Egypt, and see whether they be yet alive. And Jethro said to Moses, Go in peace. 19And the LORD said to Moses in Midian, Go, return into Egypt: for all the men are dead which sought your life. 20And Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them on an ass, and he returned to the land of Egypt: and Moses took the rod of God in his hand.

21And the LORD said to Moses, When you go to return into Egypt, see that you do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in your hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go. 22And you shall say to Pharaoh, Thus said the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn: 23And I say to you, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if you refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay your son, even your firstborn.

24And it came to pass by the way in the inn, that the LORD met him, and sought to kill him. 25Then Zipporah took a sharp stone, and cut off the foreskin of her son, and cast it at his feet, and said, Surely a bloody husband are you to me. 26So he let him go: then she said, A bloody husband you are, because of the circumcision.

Israel was considered firstborn of God.

Joseph received the firstborn birthright promise.

Jasher 36

13 after the death of Rachel, Jacob pitched his tent in the tent of her handmaid Bilhah.  14 Reuben (1st born) was jealous for his mother Leah on account of this, and he was filled with anger, and he rose up in his anger and went and entered the tent of Bilhah and he thence removed his father’s bed.  15  At that time the portion of birthright, together with the kingly and priestly offices, was removed from the sons of Reuben, for he had profaned his father’s bed, and the birthright was given to Joseph, the kingly office to Judah, and priesthood to Levi, because Reuben had defiled his father’s bed.

Jesus came as the Son of God, Israel.
Israel was no longer son because of disobedience
Jesus was son because of obedience.

When He died on the cross, the marriage covenant was made void because He died as the true son, Israel.

So now we can be reunited with Yahweh if we are in Him.

ribbonLuke 15 : The Parable of the Lost Sheep

1Then drew near to him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him. 2And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receives sinners, and eats with them.

3And he spoke this parable to them, saying, 4What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, does not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? 5And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. 7I say to you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repents, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

The Parable of the Lost Coin

8Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, does not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it? 9And when she has found it, she calls her friends and her neighbors together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost. 10Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repents.

The Parable of the Prodigal Son

11And he said, A certain man had two sons: 12And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me. And he divided to them his living. 13And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living. 14And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want. 15And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. 16And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave to him. 17And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before you, 19And am no more worthy to be called your son: make me as one of your hired servants. 20And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. 21And the son said to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight, and am no more worthy to be called your son. 22But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: 23And bring here the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: 24For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

25Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing. 26And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant. 27And he said to him, Your brother is come; and your father has killed the fatted calf, because he has received him safe and sound. 28And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and entreated him. 29And he answering said to his father, See, these many years do I serve you, neither transgressed I at any time your commandment: and yet you never gave me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends: 30But as soon as this your son was come, which has devoured your living with harlots, you have killed for him the fatted calf. 31And he said to him, Son, you are ever with me, and all that I have is yours. 32It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this your brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

16And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before the LORD: 17And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water: 18And the priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and uncover the woman’s head, and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which is the jealousy offering: and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water that causes the curse: 19And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say to the woman, If no man have lain with you, and if you have not gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of your husband, be you free from this bitter water that causes the curse: 20But if you have gone aside to another instead of your husband, and if you be defiled, and some man have lain with you beside your husband:

21Then the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall say to the woman, The LORD make you a curse and an oath among your people, when the LORD does make your thigh to rot, and your belly to swell; 22And this water that causes the curse shall go into your bowels, to make your belly to swell, and your thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, Amen, amen.
23And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot them out with the bitter water: 24And he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that causes the curse: and the water that causes the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter. 25Then the priest shall take the jealousy offering out of the woman’s hand, and shall wave the offering before the LORD, and offer it on the altar: 26And the priest shall take an handful of the offering, even the memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, and afterward shall cause the woman to drink the water. 27And when he has made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that causes the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people. 28And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed.

28After this Jesus, knowing that all things are now finished, that the scripture might be accomplished, saith, I thirst. 29There was set there a vessel full of vinegar: so they put a sponge full of the vinegar upon hyssop, and brought it to his mouth.

 What scripture is fulfilled here?

How many times did he say this, when he only said it because the scripture said it would happen that way?  Like the donkey. Did He need the donkey to go into Jerusalem? Of course not. He did it because the scripture said it was going to happen that way. Things that were prophesied, he had to make sure they happened, so those around would have no excuse for not seeing prophecy taking place right before their eyes. Yet other prophecies that required action from others were clearly orchestrated by the spirit.

So what scripture needed to be fulfilled from John 19:28 that He needed to drink something?

What was He given to drink?

Wine Vinegar from a sponge.

In essence, that which is bitter.

22Seeing ye have purified your souls in your obedience to the truth unto unfeigned love of the brethren, love one another from the heart fervently:23having been begotten again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the word of God, which liveth and abideth.24For, All flesh is as grass, And all the glory thereof as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower falleth:25But the word of the Lord abideth for ever. And this is the word of good tidings which was preached unto you.

This shall be a sign to the house of Israel. 4Moreover lie thou upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it; according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it, thou shalt bear their iniquity. 5For I have appointed the years of their iniquity to be unto thee a number of days, even 390 days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.

2009 marked the beginning of the process of the hearts of the Northern Kingdom coming back to Him in large numbers.

Thus concluding the Northern Kingdom’s judgement.

As I mentioned in my Testimony, I found all of this out on the same day I played the Escape Game, so when I saw this I just started crying at my desk at work, because this was the exact time of my divorce and the exact time period when I really started seeking Christ.

Both of my Granddad’s past away in 2009 who were strong followers of Christ.  When I went to their funeral’s and I saw the drove’s of people that came, and how each one told me how much they meant to them, and how much they impacted their lives, it really made me question the way I was living my life, because I knew if I had died that day I wouldn’t have the same response.

He placed a level of conviction in my heart that I had never felt.   I slowly started to turn every aspect of my life over to him,  and He, piece by piece, started repairing the destruction I had created in my life.

9Judah is a lion’s whelp: from the prey, my son, you are gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?

10The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and to him shall the gathering of the people be.

23The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot at him, and hated him:

24But his bow stayed in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from there is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)

25Even by the God of your father, who shall help you; and by the Almighty, who shall bless you with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lies under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb:

26The blessings of your father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors to the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brothers.

23But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; then they that are Christ’s, at his coming. 24Then cometh the end, when he shall deliver up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have abolished all rule and all authority and power.25For he must reign, till he hath put all his enemies under his feet. 26The last enemy that shall be abolished is death. 27For, He put all things in subjection under his feet.

But when he saith, All things are put in subjection, it is evident that he is excepted who did subject all things unto him. 28And when all things have been subjected unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subjected to him that did subject all things unto him, that God may be all in all.

1And Jacob dwelled in the land wherein his father was a stranger, in the land of Canaan. 2These are the generations of Jacob.

Joseph, being    years old, was feeding the flock with his brothers;

and the lad was with the sons of Bilhah, and with the sons of Zilpah, his father’s wives: and Joseph brought to his father their evil report. 3Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colors. 4And when his brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably to him.

5And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brothers: and they hated him yet the more. 6And he said to them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed: 7For, behold,

we were binding sheaves in the field, and, see, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf. 8And his brothers said to him, Shall you indeed reign over us? or shall you indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words.

9And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brothers, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.

10And he told it to his father, and to his brothers: and his father rebuked him, and said to him, What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall I and your mother and your brothers indeed come to bow down ourselves to you to the earth? 11And his brothers envied him; but his father observed the saying.

25And they sat down to eat bread: and they lifted up their eyes and looked, and, behold, a company of Ishmeelites came from Gilead with their camels bearing spices and balm and myrrh, going to carry it down to Egypt. 26And Judah said to his brothers, What profit is it if we slay our brother, and conceal his blood? 27Come, and let us sell him to the Ishmeelites, and let not our hand be on him; for he is our brother and our flesh. And his brothers were content. 28Then there passed by Midianites merchants; and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmeelites for 20 pieces of silver: and they brought Joseph into Egypt.

TRYING TO RESTORE WHAT WAS LOST

 WITH TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE

The mystery religions also preserved a legend:

When heaven and earth joined together, gods descended to earth.

The gods possessed the knowledge of the universe: the whole continuum of what can be known. They bestowed on men the art of civilization: government, agriculture and science, inventions that we in modern times hold to be human achievements. All science and learning was developed in the time when gods and man dwelt together. The gods existed from the formation of the solar system and traveled between its worlds. Their planetary civilization was unparalleled, their edifices and cities were magnificent.

Then, at some point in the dim past the realm of the gods was destroyed by a horrific cataclysm.

The symbol of the sphinx comes from the Greek root meaning “to bind together”. It is a hybrid creature combining the constellation Leo and Virgo. Images of the mythical sphinx were placed at entryways to temples, and at the thresholds of doorways. The most common depiction of the sphinx is the creature posing the riddle to Oedipus: the subject of the sphinx’s riddle-the life span of mankind-dicloses the link between the sphinx and the ouroborus, symbol of the aion (or age).

the-pyramids-of-giza

The sign of the suntelia occurred while the Milky Way aligned with the horizon of the earth, and the sun rose in the mouth of the ouroborus during the Autumn Equinox, Sept 21st-during the age between Leo and Virgo.

The Egyptians and the Sumerians described the first land after the deluge as a primordial mound that rose out of the cosmic sea. The time referred to in myth as the Flood was the time demarked by the Ouroboral cosmic clock. The cosmic waters aligned to surround the earth while at the same time the world was actually destroyed by a flood; This heavenly portent and the earth’s destruction by water occurred at the same time.

4And when he puts forth his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. 5And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.  6This parable spoke Jesus to them: but they understood not what things  they were which he spoke to them.

7Then said Jesus to them again, Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.8All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

9I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go  in and out, and find pasture.

10The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill,  and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. 11I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd gives his life for the sheep. 12But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep, and flees: and the wolf catches them, and scatters the sheep. 13The hireling flees, because he is an hireling, and cares not for the sheep.

14I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

15As the Father knows me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

16And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring,

and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

Therefore does my Father love me,

because I lay down my life,

that I might take it again.

18No man takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself.

I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again.

This commandment have I received of my Father.

19There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings. 20And many of them said, He has a devil, and is mad; why hear you him? 21Others said, These are not the words of him that has a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?

Because of the sorceries which they have searched out and learnt, the earth and those 11 who dwell upon it shall be destroyed.” And these-they have no place of repentance for ever, because they have shown them what was hidden, and they are the damned: but as for thee, my son, the Lord of Spirits knows that thou art pure, and guiltless of this reproach concerning the secrets.

Some of the greatest philosophical influences transferred to Western Europe from Constantinople was the work of the Neo-Platonists. This philosophy continued the ideas of Plato, who believed that all the workings of knowledge and civilization had been conveyed to humanity from a divine source, and was not conceived by the mind of man. Through a series of disaster on a world scale, civilizations and the knowledge that had produced it was lost.

In Plato’s Timaeus, is the story of Atlantis, the greatest and oldest civilization the world has ever seen, that had disappeared “in a single day and night of misfortune”. There exist no earlier sources of the legend of Atlantis besides the world of Plato. Timaeus was one of the most copied and widespread of Plato’s works in the Renaissance. In the Neo-Platonic philosophy, the story of Atlantis was considered allegory with underlying truth, or in some cases, a true historical account. It applied the framework from which the Neo-Platonists searched for lost knowledge. Manuscripts of Hippolytus, Proclus, Arisophanes, Plutarch, Apuleius, and many others from antiquity developed the theme that knowledge had been given to man from a divine source. Through its misuse resulting in the corruption of mankind, it was lost by a subsequent judgment from heaven.

Neo Platonic views of the time also sought to link the celestial and natural world with the divine, an idea borne out of a reawakening to the scientific value of the ancient texts of the Greeks. Ancient religious, scientific, and esoteric works were reassessed within the context of Judaic-Christian thought.

The Scientific Revolution was united with an Occult Renaissance. Chemistry originated from alchemy, (the dark art) from the Arabic world meaning “from Egypt” or form the land Kemet, meaning “darkness”. Men like Heinrich Agrippa, John Dee, Kercher, Descarte, and later Leibenes and Newton created amalgamations of the religious and natural world, a world divinely ordained and regulated.

Geometers, Mathematicians, chronologists, philosophers, and theologians of the age searched the texts of the ancients for the “lost pure knowledge” or Prisca Sapienta that would merge all sciences.

Knowledge (Gnosis):

Pope Francis is a “CHEMISTRY MAJOR”…FUSING Christianity with Paganism

Da’ath (in Hebrew)

Al (Arabic, as in Allah) means “God.”

Chem or Khem is from kimia (Greek) which means “to fuse or cast a metal.”

Also from Khem, the ancient name of Egypt.

The synthesis is therefore Al-Kimia: “to fuse with God.”

The greatest minds of antiquity believed that Gnosis was the foundation of all religion. According to the ancient philosophers, knowledge was only attainable through the inspiration of heavenly powers. Their writings state that mankind’s first knowledge had descended from the heavens.

ribbonJEREMIAH 51 : INSTRUCTION TO EXILES

6Flee from the midst of Babylon,
And each of you save his life!
Do not be destroyed in her punishment,
            For this is the LORD’S time of vengeance;
He is going to render recompense to her.
17All mankind is stupid, devoid of knowledge;
Every goldsmith is put to shame by his idols,
For his molten images are deceitful,
And there is no breath in them.

18They are worthless, a work of mockery;
In the time of their punishment they will perish.

45“Come forth from her midst, My people,
And each of you save yourselves
From the fierce anger of the LORD.

46“Now so that your heart does not grow faint,
And you are not afraid at the report that will be heard in the land—
For the report will come one year,
And after that another report in another year,
And violence will be in the land
            With ruler against ruler—

47Therefore behold, days are coming
            When I will punish the idols of Babylon;
And her whole land will be put to shame
And all her slain will fall in her midst.

48“Then heaven and earth and all that is in them
Will shout for joy over Babylon,
For the destroyers will come to her from the north,”
            Declares the LORD.

49Indeed Babylon is to fall for the slain of Israel,
As also for Babylon the slain of all the earth have fallen.

50You who have escaped the sword,
            Depart! Do not stay!
            Remember the LORD from afar,
And let Jerusalem come to your mind.

ribbonREVELATION 18 : BABYLON IS FALLEN

1After this I saw another angel descending from heaven with great authority, and the earth was illuminated by his glory. 2And he cried out in a mighty voice:

“Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great!aShe has become a lair of demons. She is a haunt for every unclean spirit, a hideout for every unclean bird, and a hold for every detestable beast.b 3All the nations have drunkc the wine of the passion of her immorality. The kings of the earth were immoral with her, and the merchants of the earth have grown wealthy through the extravagance of her luxury.” 4Then I heard another voice from heaven say:

“Come out of her, my people,d
so that you will not share in her sins
or contract any of her plagues.

5For her sins are piled up to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.

ribbonIsaiah 28 : Judgment on Ephraim

1Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine!

2Behold, the Lord has a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand.

3The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet:

4And the glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be a fading flower, and as the hasty fruit before the summer; which when he that looks on it sees, while it is yet in his hand he eats it up.

5In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, to the residue of his people,

6And for a spirit of judgment to him that sits in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.

7But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.

8For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.

9Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

10For precept must be on precept, precept on precept; line on line, line on line; here a little, and there a little:

11For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

12To whom he said, This is the rest with which you may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

13But the word of the LORD was to them precept on precept, precept on precept; line on line, line on line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

A Cornerstone in Zion

(1 Corinthians 3:10-15; 1 Peter 2:4-12)

14Why hear the word of the LORD, you scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.

15Because you have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing whip shall pass through, it shall not come to us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:

16Therefore thus said the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believes shall not make haste.

17Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.

18And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing whip shall pass through, then you shall be trodden down by it.

19From the time that it goes forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report.

20For the bed is shorter than that a man can stretch himself on it: and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself in it.

21For the LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.

22Now therefore be you not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined on the whole earth.

Listen and Hear God’s Voice

23Give you ear, and hear my voice; listen, and hear my speech.

24Does the plowman plow all day to sow? does he open and break the clods of his ground?

25When he has made plain the face thereof, does he not cast abroad the fitches, and scatter the cummin, and cast in the principal wheat and the appointed barley and the rye in their place?

26For his God does instruct him to discretion, and does teach him.

27For the fitches are not threshed with a threshing instrument, neither is a cart wheel turned about on the cummin; but the fitches are beaten out with a staff, and the cummin with a rod.

28Bread corn is bruised; because he will not ever be threshing it, nor break it with the wheel of his cart, nor bruise it with his horsemen.

29This also comes forth from the LORD of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working.

Malachi 3 : The Coming Day of Judgment

(John 1:6-13)

1Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the LORD, whom you seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom you delight in: behold, he shall come, said the LORD of hosts.

John the Baptist simply stated over and over, “Repent for the Kingdom is at Hand”

2But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appears? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap: 3And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer to the LORD an offering in righteousness. 4Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant to the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years.

MATTHEW 25 : A TREE AND ITS FRUIT

21Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ 23Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness.’

THE HOUSE ON THE ROCK

24Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25The rain fell, the torrents raged, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because its foundation was on the rock. 26But everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27The rain fell, the torrents raged, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell—and great was its collapse!”

7And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; 8And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land to a good land and a large, to a land flowing with milk and honey; to the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites. 9Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come to me: and I have also seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them.

ribbonMark 4 : The Parable of the Sower
(Matthew 13:1-9; Luke 8:4-15)

1Once again, Jesus began to teach beside the sea, and such a large crowd gathered around Him that He got into a boat and sat in it. All the people crowded along the shore, 2and He taught them many things in parables.

And in His teaching He said, 3“Listen! A farmer went out to sow his seed. 4As he was sowing, some seed fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured it.

5Other seed fell on rocky ground, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. 6But when the sun rose, the seedlings were scorched, and they withered because they had no root.

7Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the seedlings, and they yielded no crop.

8Still other seed fell on good soil, where it sprouted, grew up, and produced a crop—one bearing thirtyfold, another sixtyfold, and another a hundredfold.”

The Parable of the Sower Explained
(Matthew 13:18-23)

13Then Jesus said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? Then how will you understand any of the parables?

14The farmer sows the word. 15Some are like the seeds along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them.

16Others are like the seeds sown on rocky places. They hear the word and at once receive it with joy.

But they themselves have no root, and they remain for only a season.

When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away.

18Still others are like the seeds sown among the thorns. They hear the word, 19but the cares of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth, and the desire for other things come in and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

20Yet others are like the seeds sown on good soil. They hear the word, receive it, and produce a crop—thirtyfold, sixtyfold, or a hundredfold.”

8Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth.

9The meat offering and the drink offering is cut off from the house of the LORD; the priests, the LORD’s ministers, mourn.

10The field is wasted, the land mourns; for the corn is wasted: the new wine is dried up, the oil languishes.

11Be you ashamed, O you farmers; howl, O you vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley; because the harvest of the field is perished.

12The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languishes; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.

A CALL TO REPENTANCE

(Amos 5:4-15; Zephaniah 2:1-3; Luke 13:1-5)

13Gird yourselves, and lament, you priests: howl, you ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, you ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink offering is withheld from the house of your God.

14Sanctify you a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and cry to the LORD,

15Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.

16Is not the meat cut off before our eyes, yes, joy and gladness from the house of our God?

17The seed is rotten under their clods, the garners are laid desolate, the barns are broken down; for the corn is withered.

18How do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture; yes, the flocks of sheep are made desolate.

19O LORD, to you will I cry: for the fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame has burned all the trees of the field.

20The beasts of the field cry also to you: for the rivers of waters are dried up, and the fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness.

4The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.

5Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devours the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.

6Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.

7They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:

8Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall on the sword, they shall not be wounded.

9They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run on the wall, they shall climb up on the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.

10The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:

11And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executes his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

RETURN WITH ALL YOUR HEART

12Therefore also now, said the LORD, turn you even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:

13And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn to the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repents him of the evil.

14Who knows if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering to the LORD your God?

15Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:

16Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.

17Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare your people, O LORD, and give not your heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: why should they say among the people, Where is their God?

RESTORATION PROMISED

18Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people.

19Yes, the LORD will answer and say to his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and you shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:

20But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill smell shall come up, because he has done great things.

21Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.

22Be not afraid, you beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree bears her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.

23Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he has given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.

24And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.

25And I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

26And you shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that has dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.

27And you shall know that I am in the middle of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.

I WILL POUR OUT MY SPIRIT

28And it shall come to pass afterward,

that I will pour out my spirit on all flesh;

and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,

your old men shall dream dreams,

your young men shall see visions:

29And also on the servants and on the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

30And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

31The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.

32And it shall come to pass, that whoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD has said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

ribbonDANIEL 3 : THE FIERY FURNACE

16Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer you in this matter.

If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver
us from the burning fiery furnace,
and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king.

1 Peter 1 : A Living Hope

3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy has begotten us again to a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fades not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5Who are kept by the power of God through faith to salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 6Wherein you greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, you are in heaviness through manifold temptations: 7That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perishes, though it be tried with fire, might be found to praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: 8Whom having not seen, you love; in whom, though now you see him not, yet believing, you rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: 9Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

10Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come to you: 11Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. 12To whom it was revealed, that not to themselves, but to us they did minister the things, which are now reported to you by them that have preached the gospel to you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

A Call to Be Holy

(Hebrews 12:14-17)

13Why gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 15But as he which has called you is holy, so be you holy in all manner of conversation; 16Because it is written, Be you holy; for I am holy.

17 And if you call on the Father, who without respect of persons judges according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:

18For as much as you know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20Who truly was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 21Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

The Word of the Lord Stands Forever

(Isaiah 40:6-8)

22Seeing you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit to unfeigned love of the brothers, see that you love one another with a pure heart fervently: 23Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and stays for ever.

24For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass wither, and the flower thereof falls away:

25But the word of the Lord endures for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached to you.

ISAIAH 2 : THE MOUNTAIN OF THE LORD

1The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.

2And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it.

3And many people shall go and say, Come you, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

4And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

5O house of Jacob, come you, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.

THE DAY OF THE RECKONING

6Therefore you have forsaken your people the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they please themselves in the children of strangers.

7Their land also is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their land is also full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots:

8Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:

9And the mean man bows down, and the great man humbles himself: therefore forgive them not.

10Enter into the rock, and hide you in the dust, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty.
11The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.
12For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be on every one that is proud and lofty, and on every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:

13And on all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and on all the oaks of Bashan,

14And on all the high mountains, and on all the hills that are lifted up,

15And on every high tower, and on every fenced wall,

16And on all the ships of Tarshish, and on all pleasant pictures.

And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down,

and the haughtiness of men shall be made low:

and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.

18And the idols he shall utterly abolish.

19And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he rises to shake terribly the earth.

THE SIXTH SEAL: TERROR

12And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, see, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;13And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, even as a fig tree casts her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

15And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every slave, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

For the great day of his wrath is come;

and who shall be able to stand?

 20In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;

21To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he rises to shake terribly the earth.

22Cease you from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of ?

10Come now therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh, that you may bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt. 11And Moses said to God, Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt? 12And he said, Certainly I will be with you; and this shall be a token to you, that I have sent you: When you have brought forth the people out of Egypt, you shall serve God on this mountain.

13And Moses said to God, Behold, when I come to the children of Israel, and shall say to them, The God of your fathers has sent me to you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say to them? 14And God said to Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shall you say to the children of Israel, I AM has sent me to you. 15And God said moreover to Moses, Thus shall you say to the children of Israel, the LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial to all generations. 16Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say to them, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared to me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt:

And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction

of Egypt to the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites,

and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites,

and the Jebusites, to a land flowing with milk and honey.

18And they shall listen to your voice: and you shall come, you and the elders of Israel, to the king of Egypt, and you shall say to him, The LORD God of the Hebrews has met with us: and now let us go, we beseech you, three days’ journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God. 19And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand. 20And I will stretch out my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the middle thereof: and after that he will let you go. 21And I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when you go, you shall not go empty. 22But every woman shall borrow of her neighbor, and of her that sojournes in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and you shall put them on your sons, and on your daughters; and you shall spoil the Egyptians.

Unfortunately those false teachings have crept back in to our churches that we had originally broken away from and why God is calling out for us to correct our ways and make way for Him.

Please do not mistake what I am saying here.  I am not saying you have to live in the Southeastern United States to be saved.  Nor am I saying that everyone currently living here will be saved.

I do, however, firmly believe this is the area God will use as an example of where the spiritual kingdom of Israel is located on a map during this time.  Why? because this area became the most densely populated region that resulted from previous obedience to God’s Word and correction to false teachings.   Unfortunately though, our churches have been invaded.  This is why Jesus gave the letters to the 7 churches.  He knew this would happen and He is calling us to correct ourselves again.

Also it is known as the “Bible Belt” and we are Ephraim who was born under Orion’s Belt.

ribbonGENESIS 9 : THE COVENANT OF THE RAINBOW

(Genesis 6:13-22)

1And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. 2And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be on every beast of the earth, and on every fowl of the air, on all that moves on the earth, and on all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered. 3Every moving thing that lives shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. 4But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall you not eat. 5And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man’s brother will I require the life of man.

9And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 10Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, When you be come into the land which I give to you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then you shall bring a sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest: 11And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it. 12And you shall offer that day when you wave the sheaf an he lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering to the LORD.13And the meat offering thereof shall be two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire to the LORD for a sweet smell: and the drink offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of an hin.14And you shall eat neither bread, nor parched corn, nor green ears, until the selfsame day that you have brought an offering to your God: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

The same is Melchizedek whom Abraham tithed 1/10 to.

(Jasher 16)

ribbonHebrews 7 : Melchizedek and Abraham
(Genesis 14:17-24)

1This Melchizedek was king of Salem and priest of God Most High. He met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him,2and Abraham apportioned to him a tenth of everything. First, his name means “king of righteousness.” Then also, “king of Salem” means “king of peace.” 3Without father or mother or genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, like the Son of God, he remains a priest for all time.

4Consider how great Melchizedek was: Even the patriarch Abraham gave him a tenth of the spoils. 5Now the Law commands the sons of Levi who become priests to collect a tenth from the people (that is, their brothers), even though they are descended from Abraham. 6But Melchizedek, who did not trace his descent from Levi, collected a tenth from Abraham and blessed him who had the promises. 7And indisputably, the lesser is blessed by the greater.

8In the case of the Levites, mortal men collect the tenth; but in the case of Melchizedek, it is affirmed that he lives on. 9And so to speak, Levi, who collects the tenth, paid the tenth through Abraham. 10For when Melchizedek met Abraham, Levi was still in the loin of his ancestor.

A Superior Priesthood

11Now if perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood (upon which basis the people received the Law), why was there still a need for another priest to appear—one in the order of Melchizedek and not in the order of Aaron? 12For when the priesthood is changed, the Law must be changed as well.

13He of whom these things are said belonged to a different tribe, from which no one has ever served at the altar. 14For it is clear that our Lord descended from Judah, a tribe as to which Moses said nothing about priests.

15And this point is even more clear if another priest like Melchizedek appears, 16one who has become a priest not by a law of succession, but by the power of an indestructible life. 17For it is testified: “You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.”a

18So the former commandment is set aside because it was weak and useless 19(for the Law made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God.

20And none of this happened without an oath. For others became priests without an oath, 21but Jesus became a priest with an oath by the One who said to Him:

“The Lord has sworn and will not change His mind, ‘You are a priest forever.’”b 22Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantee of a better covenant.

23Now there have been many other priests, since death prevented them from continuing in office. 24But because Jesus lives forever, He has a permanent priesthood. 25Therefore He is able to save completelyc those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to intercede for them.

26Such a high priest truly befits us—One who is holy, innocent, undefiled, set apart from sinners, and exalted above the heavens. 27Unlike the other high priests, He does not need to offer daily sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the sins of the people; He sacrificed for sin once for all when He offered up Himself. 28For the Law appoints as high priests men who are weak; but the oath, which came after the Law, appointed the Son, who has been made perfect forever.

ribbonJOHN 21 : JESUS APPEARS AT THE SEA OF GALILEE

1After these things Jesus showed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise showed he himself. 2There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples. 3Simon Peter said to them, I go a fishing. They say to him, We also go with you. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.

4But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus. 5Then Jesus said to them, Children, have you any meat? They answered him, No. 6And he said to them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and you shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.7Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher’s coat to him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.

8And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were 200 cubits,) dragging the net with fishes.

200 cubits (18″) = 3600 inches

9As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread. 10Jesus said to them, Bring of the fish which you have now caught.

11Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an 153: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.

12Jesus said to them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples dared ask him, Who are you? knowing that it was the Lord. 13Jesus then comes, and takes bread, and gives them, and fish likewise. 14This is now the 3rd time that Jesus showed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.

Estrus refers to the phase when the female is sexually receptive (“in heat”). Under regulation by gonadotropic hormones, ovarian follicles mature and estrogen secretions exert their biggest influence. The female then exhibits sexually receptive behavior, a situation that may be signaled by visible physiologic changes.

A signal trait of estrus is the lordosis reflex,

in which the animal spontaneously elevates her hindquarters.

: The Victory of the Lamb

14They will make war against the Lamb,

and the Lamb will triumph over them,

because He is Lord of lords and King of kings;

and He will be accompanied by His called

and chosen and faithful ones.”

15Then the angel said to me, “The waters where you saw the prostitute seated are peoples and multitudes and nations and tongues. 16And the ten horns and the beast that you saw will hate the prostitute. They will leave her desolate and naked, and will eat her flesh and burn her with fire. 17For God has put it into their hearts to carry out His purpose by uniting to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled. 18And the woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth.”

3To him the porter opens; and the sheep hear his voice:

and he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out.

4And when he puts forth his own sheep, he goes before them,

and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

5And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him:

for they know not the voice of strangers.

7Then said Jesus to them again, Truly, truly, I say to you,

I am the door of the sheep.

8All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers:

but the sheep did not hear them.

9I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved,

and shall go  in and out, and find pasture.

10The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill,  and to destroy:

I am come that they might have life, and that they might have

it more abundantly. 11I am the good shepherd:

the good shepherd gives his life for the sheep.

14I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

15As the Father knows me, even so know I the Father:

and I lay down my life for the sheep.

16And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold:

them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice;

and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

17 Therefore does my Father love me,

because I lay down my life,

that I might take it again.

18No man takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself.

I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again.

This commandment have I received of my Father.

Praise the LORD!

Praise, O servants of the LORD,

Praise the name of the LORD

Blessed be the name of the LORD

From this time forth and forever.

From the rising of the sun to its setting

The name of the LORD is to be praised.

The LORD is high above all nations;

His glory is above the heavens.

Who is like the LORD our God,

Who is enthroned on high,

Who humbles Himself to behold

The things that are in heaven and in the earth?

He raises the poor from the dust

And lifts the needy from the ash heap,

(“Ephraim” : double ash-heap;  doubly fruitful)

To make them sit with princes,

With the princes of His people.

He makes the barren woman abide in the house

As a joyful mother of children.

Praise the LORD!

I wonder, do you know him?

Every knew will bow

Every tongue will confess

1And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee, 2and shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;3that then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the peoples, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.4If any of thine outcasts be in the uttermost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee: 5and the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.

MARRIAGE OF THE LAMB

ribbonMATTHEW 22 : THE PARABLE OF THE BANQUET

(Luke 14:15-24)

1Once again, Jesus spoke to them in parables: 2“The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son. 3He sent his servants to call those he had invited to the banquet, but they refused to come.  4Again, he sent other servants and said, ‘Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner. My oxen and fatlings have been killed, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.’  5But they paid no attention and went away, one to his field, and another to his business. 6The rest seized his servants, mistreated them, and killed them.  7The king was enraged. He sent his troops to destroy those murderers and burn their city. 8Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited were not worthy. 9Go therefore to the crossroads and invite to the banquet as many as you can find.’

10So the servants went out into the streets and gathered everyone they could find, both evil and good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.  11But when the king came in to see the guests, he spotted a man who was not dressed in wedding clothes. 12‘Friend,’ he asked, ‘how did you get in here without wedding clothes?’  But the man was speechless.  13Then the king told the servants, ‘Tie him hand and foot and throw him outside into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ 14For many are called, but few are chosen.”

ribbon2 PETER 3 : THE DAY OF THE LORD
(Zephaniah 1:7-18; 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11)

8Beloved, do not let this one thing escape your notice: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 9The Lord is not slow to fulfill His promise as some understand slowness, but is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

10But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar, the elements will be dissolved in the fire, and the earth and its works will not be found.b

We are just over 6000 years (6 days) since Adam.

11Since everything will be dissolved in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to conduct yourselves in holiness and godliness 12as you anticipate and hasten the coming of the day of God, when the heavens will be dissolved by fire and the elements will melt in the heat. 13But in keeping with God’s promise, we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells.

FINAL EXHORTATIONS

14Therefore, beloved, as you anticipate these things, make every effort to be found at peace with Him, without spot or blemish.
15Consider also that our Lord’s patience brings salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom God gave him. 16He writes this way in all his letters,c speaking in them about such matters. Some parts of his letters are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort,d as they do the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction.

Therefore, beloved, since you already know these things,
be on your guard not to be carried away
by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure standing.
18But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity.

Amen.e

18And it shall be, when he sits on the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before the priests the Levites: 19And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them: 20That his heart be not lifted up above his brothers, and that he turn not aside from the commandment, to the right hand, or to the left: to the end that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he, and his children, in the middle of Israel.

(Isaiah 45:14-25)

14And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the LORD God shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south.

15The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, and as the corners of the altar.

16And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign on his land.
17For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! corn shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maids.

ribbonZECHARIAH 10 : JUDAH AND ISRAEL WILL BE RESTORED

1Ask you of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.

2For the idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they were troubled, because there was no shepherd.

3My anger was kindled against the shepherds, and I punished the goats: for the LORD of hosts has visited his flock the house of Judah, and has made them as his goodly horse in the battle.

4Out of him came forth the corner, out of him the nail, out of him the battle bow, out of him every oppressor together.

5And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the LORD is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.

6And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy on them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am the LORD their God, and will hear them.
7And they of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yes, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the LORD.
8I will hiss for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased.

ribbonJEREMIAH 31 : MOURNING TURNED TO JOY

(Matthew 2:16-18)

1At the same time, said the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.

2Thus said the LORD, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.

3The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn you.

4Again I will build you, and you shall be built, O virgin of Israel: you shall again be adorned with your tabrets, and shall go forth in the dances of them that make merry.

5You shall yet plant vines on the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.

6For there shall be a day, that the watchmen on the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise you, and let us go up to Zion to the LORD our God.
7For thus said the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish you, praise you, and say, O LORD, save your people, the remnant of Israel.
8Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travails with child together: a great company shall return thither.
9They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.

10Hear the word of the LORD, O you nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd does his flock.

11For the LORD has redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.

12Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.

13Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.

14And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, said the LORD.

15Thus said the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.

16Thus said the LORD; Refrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears: for your work shall be rewarded, said the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.
17And there is hope in your end, said the LORD, that your children shall come again to their own border.
18I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; You have chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn you me, and I shall be turned; for you are the LORD my God.
19Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote on my thigh: I was ashamed, yes, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.
20Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spoke against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy on him, said the LORD.
21Set you up markers, make you high heaps: set your heart toward the highway, even the way which you went: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these your cities.
22How long will you go about, O you backsliding daughter? for the LORD has created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.

23Thus said the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless you, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness.

24And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all the cities thereof together, farmers, and they that go forth with flocks. 25For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul. 26On this I awaked, and beheld; and my sleep was sweet to me.

27Behold, the days come, said the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast. 28And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, said the LORD.

29In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children’s teeth are set on edge.

30But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eats the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.

A NEW COVENANT

31Behold, the days come, said the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they broke, although I was an husband to them, said the LORD:
33But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, said the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, said the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

35Thus said the LORD, which gives the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divides the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:

36If those ordinances depart from before me, said the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.

37Thus said the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, said the LORD.

38Behold, the days come, said the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel to the gate of the corner. 39And the measuring line shall yet go forth over against it on the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath. 40And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields to the brook of Kidron, to the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy to the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.

ribbonIsaiah 66  : Heaven is My Throne

1Thus said the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that you build to me? and where is the place of my rest?

2For all those things has my hand made, and all those things have been, said the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembles at my word.

3He that kills an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrifices a lamb, as if he cut off a dog’s neck; he that offers an oblation, as if he offered swine’s blood; he that burns incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yes, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations.

4I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears on them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spoke, they did not hear: but they did evil before my eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

5Hear the word of the LORD, you that tremble at his word; Your brothers that hated you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.

6A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that renders recompense to his enemies.

Rejoice with Jerusalem

7Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.

8Who has heard such a thing? who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

9Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? said the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? said your God.

10Rejoice you with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all you that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all you that mourn for her:

11That you may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that you may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.

12For thus said the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall you suck, you shall be borne on her sides, and be dandled on her knees.

13As one whom his mother comforts, so will I comfort you; and you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.

14And when you see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.

God’s Final Judgments against the Wicked

15For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

16For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.

17They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the middle, eating swine’s flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, said the LORD.

18For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory. 19And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them to the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles. 20And they shall bring all your brothers for an offering to the LORD out of all nations on horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and on mules, and on swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, said the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD. 21And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, said the LORD.

22For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, said the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.

23And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, said the LORD.

24And they shall go forth, and look on the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring to all flesh.

ribbonIsaiah 62 : Prayer for Illustration of God’s Power

1Oh that you would rend the heavens, that you would come down, that the mountains might flow down at your presence,

2As when the melting fire burns, the fire causes the waters to boil, to make your name known to your adversaries, that the nations may tremble at your presence!

3When you did terrible things which we looked not for, you came down, the mountains flowed down at your presence.

4For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither has the eye seen, O God, beside you, what he has prepared for him that waits for him.

5You meet him that rejoices and works righteousness, those that remember you in your ways: behold, you are wroth; for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved.

6But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

7And there is none that calls on your name, that stirs up himself to take hold of you: for you have hid your face from us, and have consumed us, because of our iniquities.

8But now, O LORD, you are our father; we are the clay, and you our potter; and we all are the work of your hand.

9Be not wroth very sore, O LORD, neither remember iniquity for ever: behold, see, we beseech you, we are all your people.

10Your holy cities are a wilderness, Zion is a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.

11Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised you, is burned up with fire: and all our pleasant things are laid waste.

12Will you refrain yourself for these things, O LORD? will you hold your peace, and afflict us very sore?
