Wilderness of Numbers-2
“Just as Egyptians left with the Hebrews in the Exodus by way of the Passover lamb, Christ has opened the door that whosoever calls upon Him will be saved.”
But Remember what happened as soon they were brought up out of Egypt.
1And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together to Aaron, and said to him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we know not what is become of him. 2And Aaron said to them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them to me. 3And all the people broke off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them to Aaron. 4And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a engraving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be your gods, O Israel, which brought you up out of the land of Egypt. 5And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the LORD. 6And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.
Moses Informed of Israel’s Sin
7And the LORD said to Moses, Go, get you down; for your people, which you brought out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves: 8They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be your gods, O Israel, which have brought you up out of the land of Egypt.9And the LORD said to Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiff necked people: 10Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of you a great nation.
11And Moses sought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why does your wrath wax hot against your people, which you have brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand? 12Why should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from your fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against your people.13Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, your servants, to whom you swore by your own self, and said to them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give to your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever. 14And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do to his people.
Moses Descends with the Tablets
15And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written. 16And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven on the tables.
17And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted,
he said to Moses, There is a noise of war in the camp.
18And he said, It is not the voice of them that shout for mastery,
neither is it the voice of them that cry for being overcome:
but the noise of them that sing do I hear.
Moses Breaks the Tablets
19And it came to pass, as soon as he came near to the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses’ anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and broke them beneath the mount.
20And he took the calf which they had made,
and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder,
and strewed it on the water,
and made the children of Israel drink of it.
Deut 9:21 21And I took your sin, the calf which you had made, and burnt it with fire, and stamped it, and ground it very small, even until it was as small as dust: and I cast the dust thereof into the brook that descended out of the mount.
ALCHEMIC POTION GRINDER ::::: Golden Cup of Abominations
The Adulterous Woman was the Northern Kingdom of Israel who He divorced after they served Baal.
This was the cup Jesus drank in the Garden of Gethsemene.
He had to drink from the cup, the cup of bitter water, that was to given to the wife, accused of adultery.
He knew what the outcome of the cup would bring, therefore he prayed for it be taken away, while in the Garden of Gethsemane…
MATTHEW 26 : JESUS PRAYS IN THE GARDEN OF GETHSEMANE
39And he went forward a little, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, MY FATHER, IF IT BE POSSIBLE, LET THIS CUP PASS AWAY FROM ME: NEVERTHELESS, NOT AS I WILL, BUT AS THOU WILT.
Numbers 5 :The Adultery Test
11And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 12Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, If any man’s wife go aside, and commit a trespass against him, 13And a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and be kept close, and she be defiled, and there be no witness against her, neither she be taken with the manner; 14And the spirit of jealousy come on him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come on him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled: 15Then shall the man bring his wife to the priest, and he shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil on it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an offering of jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance.
16And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before the LORD: 17And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water: 18And the priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and uncover the woman’s head, and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which is the jealousy offering: and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water that causes the curse: 19And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say to the woman, If no man have lain with you, and if you have not gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of your husband, be you free from this bitter water that causes the curse: 20But if you have gone aside to another instead of your husband, and if you be defiled, and some man have lain with you beside your husband: 21Then the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall say to the woman, The LORD make you a curse and an oath among your people, when the LORD does make your thigh to rot, and your belly to swell; 22And this water that causes the curse shall go into your bowels, to make your belly to swell, and your thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, Amen, amen.
23And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot them out with the bitter water: 24And he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that causes the curse: and the water that causes the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter. 25Then the priest shall take the jealousy offering out of the woman’s hand, and shall wave the offering before the LORD, and offer it on the altar: 26And the priest shall take an handful of the offering, even the memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, and afterward shall cause the woman to drink the water. 27And when he has made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that causes the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people. 28And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed.
29This is the law of jealousies, when a wife goes aside to another instead of her husband, and is defiled; 30Or when the spirit of jealousy comes on him, and he be jealous over his wife, and shall set the woman before the LORD, and the priest shall execute on her all this law. 31Then shall the man be guiltless from iniquity, and this woman shall bear her iniquity.
COLOSSIANS 2 : BUILT UP IN CHRIST
13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, has he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14BLOTTING OUT THE HANDWRITING OF ORDINANCES that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, NAILING IT TO HIS CROSS;15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
It was these ordinances written on the scroll that were contrary to us or against us and that were washed off the scroll into the cup, Then nailed to the cross & Jesus.
He had to drink as prescribed in the law for the wife accused of adultery.
Jesus died not only so he could remarry his divorced bride, but he took the place of her judgement.
Nailing that judgement to the cross.
John 8 : Jesus Delivers the Adulterous Woman
1Jesus went to the mount of Olives. 2And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came to him; and he sat down, and taught them. 3And the scribes and Pharisees brought to him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the middle, 4They say to him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. 5Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what say you? 6This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. 7So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said to them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.8And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. 9And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the oldest, even to the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the middle. 10When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said to her, Woman, where are those your accusers? has no man condemned you? 11She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said to her, Neither do I condemn you: go, and sin no more.
He enabled his wife to be wiped clean of her guilt and be remarried at the same time.
She can now be justified. Justified – declared or made righteous in the sight of God.
Just-if-I’d never done it .
He came to redeem His people so they could come back into covenant relationship with Him.
21Then the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall say to the woman, The LORD make you a curse and an oath among your people,
MATT 27:39 Those who passed by hurled insults at him, shaking their heads.
when the LORD does make your thigh to rot, and your belly to swell;
The THIGH is representative a person’s word or credibility, or even authority. Used in matters of keeping one’s word. This is why we see oath’s given why a man’s hand was under the others thigh.
GEN 24 9And the servant put his hand under the thigh of Abraham his master, and sware to him concerning this matter.
GEN 47 29And the time drew near that Israel must die: and HE CALLED HIS SON JOSEPH, and said unto him, If now I have found favor in thy sight, put, I pray thee, THY HAND UNDER MY THIGH, and deal kindly and truly with me: bury me not, I pray thee, in Egypt;
The thigh wasting away was representative of ones credibility being useless.
When Jesus did not give the crowds proof of being the Son of God, His credibility meant nothing., if he desireth him: for he said, I am the Son of God
MATT 27 40and saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself: if thou art the Son of God, come down from the cross. 41In like manner also the chief priests mocking him , with the scribes and elders, said, 42He saved others; himself he cannot save. He is the King of Israel; let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe on him. 43He trusteth on God; let him deliver him now
The strongest muscle of the body is usually said to be the quadriceps located in the thigh. Though on the cross his strength appeared as weakness, there will be no question to His strength at His second coming. Though a spiritual understanding of the thigh is enough to get one’s attention, how did his thigh physically waste away while on the cross?
It was the thighs that one used in raising themselves up in order to breath when being crucified. After all his suffering and torture that happened before ever seeing the cross, and then after several hours of constantly lifting himself up on the cross just to struggle to breath, His thighs finally “wasted away”
This supports the many who contend that He actually suffocated after saying, “It is finished,” because, truly, His thighs could lift Him no more. There was no strength left. He suffocated as a result of His thighs wasting away. This is why the two thieves next to Yeshua had their legs broken. It was so they could push themselves up no more and would indeed suffocate.
He held no credibility with them. Yet there will be no mistaking his word, credibility, or authority, at his second coming. His thigh will make it very clear.
Rev 19:16 15 Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. 16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS
But what of His abdomen? For it says…NUM 5 and thy abdomen to swell;
Our lungs expand towards the least resistance given. In a relaxed state, that expansion is downward. Our Savior had been up all night in a mock trial, plus we know he was stressed because his sweat was mixed with blood, the night of praying in the garden.
Luke 22 : Jesus Prays on the Mount of Olives
(Matthew 26:36-46; Mark 14:32-42)
39And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him. 40And when he was at the place, he said to them, Pray that you enter not into temptation. 41And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, 42Saying, Father, if you be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but yours, be done. 43And there appeared an angel to him from heaven, strengthening him. 44And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. 45And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow, 46And said to them, Why sleep you? rise and pray, lest you enter into temptation.
He didn’t enter this day on a good night’s sleep, on a nice mattress. So he has been up over 24 hours, after being smacked around by the Pharisees, and having his beard pulled, he gets beat up by the Roman soldiers, then presented to his people, with a crown of thorns. Then he gets flogged to the point of hardly having human recognition.
Then he has to carry the weight of his own cross. Every breath he took on the cross was in weakness, not strength. His lungs filled with fluids while hanging on the cross why in the hands of the Romans. The shear weight of the lungs would have been enough to push down on the abdomen and push it out. His stomach was pushed out just like in the curse given to the unfaithful wife in Numbers 5:21.
14Like as many were astonished at thee (his visage was so marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men),
Num 5:27
And when he hath made her drink the water, then it shall come to pass, if she be defiled, and have committed a trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her and become bitter, and her body shall swell, and her thigh shall fall away: and the woman shall be a curse among her people.
He was brought before the Sanhedrin just like the woman was to be brought before the priest. No witnesses for proof with Pilate, and Pilate found no fault and declared it.
Luke 23:4 Then Pilate announced to the chief priests and the crowd, “I find no basis for a charge against this man.”
Thus the need for Him to drink the cup – to prove the guilt
He endured the bitter suffering on the cross and the punishment of the unfaithful spouse who was defiled.
Num 5:23 And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot them out into the water of bitterness
and nailed it to the cross, just like it was mentioned in
Col 2:14BLOTTING OUT THE HANDWRITING OF ORDINANCES that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, NAILING IT TO HIS CROSS;
Just like Moses cast a tree into the bitter waters and made them sweet.
Exodus 15 : The Waters of Marah
22So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water. 23And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah. 24And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?25And he cried to the LORD; and the LORD showed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them
JOHN 19 : THE DEATH OF JESUS
28After this Jesus, knowing that all things are now finished, that the scripture might be accomplished, saith, I thirst. 29There was set there a vessel full of vinegar: so they put a sponge full of the vinegar upon hyssop, and brought it to his mouth.
ὄξος óxos,vinegar, i.e. sour wine:—vinegar.
the mixture of sour wine or vinegar and water which the Roman soldiers were accustomed to drink
Who performed the first sacrifices? It was God himself in the garden of Eden. Making atonement for the sin of Adam and Eve, thus clothing them, and covering their nakedness, thus making him the first high priest.
LEVITICUS 21
9And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the harlot, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire.
If we, being children of the first High Priest, and we are all considered as such in the feminine gender, would we not see something in parallel of judgement in Leviticus 21?
REVELATION 20
15And if any was not found written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.
May we never forgot the He took our place on the cross. He nailed the curse of the Law to the cross. Don’t stay dead in your sins any longer. Walk freely in the covenant He has enabled all to enter in.
21And Moses said to Aaron, What did this people to you, that you have brought so great a sin on them? 22And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my lord wax hot: you know the people, that they are set on mischief. 23For they said to me, Make us gods, which shall go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we know not what is become of him.24And I said to them, Whoever has any gold, let them break it off. So they gave it me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf. 25And when Moses saw that the people were naked; (for Aaron had made them naked to their shame among their enemies:)
GENESIS 3:10
And he said, I heard your voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I WAS NAKED; AND I HID MYSELF.11And he said, WHO TOLD YOU THAT YOU WERE NAKED? HAVE YOU EATEN OF THE TREE, WHEREOF I COMMANDED YOU THAT YOU SHOULD NOT EAT?12And the man said, The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat. 13And the LORD God said to the woman, What is this that you have done? And the woman said, THE SERPENT BEGUILED ME, and I did eat.
Genesis 3 : The Serpent’s Deception
15And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; it shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.
כָּתַת kâthath to bruise or violently strike: break in pieces, crushed (like Powder), destroy, discomfit, smite, stamp.
JASHER 4
18 the sons of men in those days took from the cattle of the earth, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the air, and TAUGHT THE MIXTURE OF ANIMALs OF ONE SPECIES WITH THE OTHER, in order to provoke the Lord, and God saw the whole earth and it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted its ways upon earth, all mean and all animals.
19 The Lord said, I will blot out man that I created from the face of the earth, yea from man to the birds of the air, together with cattle and beasts that are in the field, for I repent that I made them 21 Noah found grace in the sight of the Lord, and Lord chose him and his children to raise up seed from them upon the face of the whole earth.
26Then Moses stood in the GATE OF THE CAMP, and said, WHO IS ON THE LORD’S SIDE?
let him come to me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together to him. 27And he said to them, Thus said the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbor. 28And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men. 29For Moses had said, Consecrate yourselves today to the LORD, even every man on his son, and on his brother; that he may bestow on you a blessing this day.
Moses Intercedes for Israel
30And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said to the people, You have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up to the LORD; peradventure I shall make an atonement for your sin. 31And Moses returned to the LORD, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold.
32Yet now, if you will forgive their sin—; and if not, blot me, I pray you, out of your book which you have written.
33And the LORD said to Moses, Whoever has sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.34Therefore now go, lead the people to the place of which I have spoken to you: behold, my Angel shall go before you: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin on them. 35And the LORD plagued the people, because they made the calf, which Aaron made.
Revelation 3:4-5
– Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
Dueternomy 29 : Covenant at moab
14Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath; 15But with him that stands here with us this day before the LORD our God, and also with him that is not here with us this day: 16(For you know how we have dwelled in the land of Egypt; and how we came through the nations which you passed by; 17And you have seen their abominations, and their idols, wood and stone, silver and gold, which were among them:) 18Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turns away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that bears gall and wormwood; 19And it come to pass, when he hears the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of my heart, to add drunkenness to thirst:20The LORD will not spare him, but then the anger of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie on him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven. 21And the LORD shall separate him to evil out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in this book of the law:
Joshua 24 : Choose Whom You will Serve
17 For the LORD our God, he [it is] that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed: 18 And the LORD drave out from before us all the people, even the Amorites which dwelt in the land: [therefore] will we also serve the LORD; for he [is] our God. 19 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD: for he [is] an holy God; he [is] a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins.
20If you forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he has done you good. 21And the people said to Joshua, No; but we will serve the LORD. 22And Joshua said to the people, You are witnesses against yourselves that you have chosen you the LORD, to serve him. And they said, We are witnesses. 23Now therefore put away, said he, the strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart to the LORD God of Israel. 24And the people said to Joshua, The LORD our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey. 25So Joshua made a covenant with the people that day, and set them a statute and an ordinance in Shechem. 26And Joshua wrote these words in the book of the law of God, and took a great stone, and set it up there under an oak, that was by the sanctuary of the LORD. 27And Joshua said to all the people, Behold, this stone shall be a witness to us; for it has heard all the words of the LORD which he spoke to us: it shall be therefore a witness to you, lest you deny your God. 28So Joshua let the people depart, every man to his inheritance.
Joshua’s Death and Burial
29And it came to pass after these things, that Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died, being an hundred and ten years old. 30And they buried him in the border of his inheritance in Timnathserah, which is in mount Ephraim, on the north side of the hill of Gaash.
31And Israel served the LORD all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders that outlived Joshua, and which had known all the works of the LORD, that he had done for Israel.
32And the bones of Joseph, which the children of Israel brought up out of Egypt, buried they in Shechem, in a parcel of ground which Jacob bought of the sons of Hamor the father of Shechem for an hundred pieces of silver: and it became the inheritance of the children of Joseph. 33And Eleazar the son of Aaron died; and they buried him in a hill that pertained to Phinehas his son, which was given him in mount Ephraim.
Isaiah 47 : The Nakedness of Babylon
1Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for you shall no more be called tender and delicate. 2Take the millstones, and grind meal: uncover your locks, make bore the leg, uncover the thigh, pass over the rivers. 3Your nakedness shall be uncovered, yes, your shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet you as a man.
4As for our redeemer, the LORD of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel. 5Sit you silent, and get you into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for you shall no more be called, The lady of kingdoms. 6I was wroth with my people, I have polluted my inheritance, and given them into your hand: you did show them no mercy; on the ancient have you very heavily laid your yoke. 7And you said, I shall be a lady for ever: so that you did not lay these things to your heart, neither did remember the latter end of it.
8Therefore hear now this, you that are given to pleasures, that dwell carelessly, that say in your heart, I am, and none else beside me; I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children: 9But these two things shall come to you in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come on you in their perfection for the multitude of your sorceries, and for the great abundance of your enchantments. 10For you have trusted in your wickedness: you have said, None sees me. Your wisdom and your knowledge, it has perverted you; and you have said in your heart, I am, and none else beside me.
11Therefore shall evil come on you; you shall not know from where it rises: and mischief shall fall on you; you shall not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come on you suddenly, which you shall not know. 12Stand now with your enchantments, and with the multitude of your sorceries, wherein you have labored from your youth; if so be you shall be able to profit, if so be you may prevail. 13You are wearied in the multitude of your counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save you from these things that shall come on you.
14Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it. 15Thus shall they be to you with whom you have labored, even your merchants, from your youth: they shall wander every one to his quarter; none shall save you.
Isaiah 14: God’s Restoration of Israel
1For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall join to the house of Jacob. 2And the people shall take them, and bring them to their place: and the house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the LORD for servants and handmaids: and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; and they shall rule over their oppressors.
Triumphant Exultation over Babel
3And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give you rest from your sorrow, and from your fear, and from the hard bondage wherein you were made to serve,
4That you shall take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How has the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!
5The LORD has broken the staff of the wicked, and the scepter of the rulers. 6He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hinders. 7The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing. 8Yes, the fir trees rejoice at you, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since you are laid down, no feller is come up against us.
9Hell from beneath is moved for you to meet you at your coming: it stirs up the dead for you, even all the chief ones of the earth; it has raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.
10All they shall speak and say to you, Are you also become weak as we? are you become like to us? 11Your pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of your viols: the worm is spread under you, and the worms cover you. 12How are you fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how are you cut down to the ground, which did weaken the nations!

13For you have said in your heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also on the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. 15Yet you shall be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. 16They that see you shall narrowly look on you, and consider you, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; 17That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners? 18All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house. 19But you are cast out of your grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcass trodden under feet. 20You shall not be joined with them in burial, because you have destroyed your land, and slain your people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned. 21Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities. 22For I will rise up against them, said the LORD of hosts, and cut off from Babylon the name, and remnant, and son, and nephew, said the LORD. 23I will also make it a possession for the bittern, and pools of water: and I will sweep it with the besom of destruction, said the LORD of hosts.
ISAIAH 23 : THE FALL OF TYRE
7IS THIS YOUR JOYOUS CITY, WHOSE ANTIQUITY IS OF ANCIENT DAYS? her own feet shall carry her afar off to sojourn. 8Who has taken this counsel against Tyre, the crowning city, whose MERCHANTS are princes, whose traffickers are the honorable of the earth? 9The LORD of hosts has purposed it, to stain the pride of all glory, and to bring into contempt all the honorable of the earth.
17 And IT SHALL COME TO PASS AFTER THE END OF 70 YEARS, THAT THE LORD WILL VISIT TYRE, and she shall turn to her hire, and shall commit fornication with all the kingdoms of the world on the face of the earth. 18And her MERCHANDISE and her hire shall be holiness to the LORD: it shall not be treasured nor laid up; for her merchandise shall be for them that dwell before the LORD, to eat sufficiently, and for durable clothing.
Matthew 24 : Signs of the End29Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, (ECLIPSE 8/21)) and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: (9/23) and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.Total Eclipse on August 21st, followed by the Sign in the Heavens 33 days laterThe Adultery Test is what the Sign on September 23 is all about.
