Defiled Bread
In Chapter 4 of Ezekiel where he was given the prophecy of the Judgement of the Northern Kingdom, we also see where Ezekiel ate “defiled bread” for 390 days.
Ezekiel 4 : The Defiled Bread
9Take you also to you wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentils, and millet, and fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make you bread thereof, according to the number of the days that you shall lie on your side, 390 days shall you eat thereof. 10And your meat which you shall eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time shall you eat it.11You shall drink also water by measure, the sixth part of an hin: from time to time shall you drink. 12And you shall eat it as barley cakes, and you shall bake it with dung that comes out of man, in their sight. 13And the LORD said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, where I will drive them.

31And the Lord said, how then shall I liken the men of this generation and to what are they like? 32They are like to children sitting in the marketplace, and calling one to another, and saying, we have piped to you, and you have not danced; we have mourned to you, and you have not wept.

In other words, using Facebook is like junk food: you get instant gratification when you post for likes and comments.It’s quick and easy but has little substance.Parker says that the thought process when building Facebook was to figure out “how do we consume as much of your time and conscious attention as possible?”

Jannes and Jambres were the magicians that were matching Moses and Aaron when God told Moses to tell Pharoah “Let my people go so they can serve me”.

When God sent Moses and Aaron to tell Pharaoh to let his people go, the Magicians of Egypt could imitate the first 2 plagues through enchantments & magic. To be God’s Image Bearers, does not mean imitating His Creative Work, it means abiding in His Love, by obeying the Commandments.

When Moses led the Israelite’s out of slavery,
they had to pass through the waters, which he parted with a Rod.
The flood of waters we are dealing with now is the flood of information and entertainment.
More and more distractions.
The pace going faster and faster.
We are constantly chasing after the illusion.
The ARK we need to be building now is a spiritual ark.
The waters we are in are rising increasingly fast.
There is a reason we pray with our eyes closed and in a quite place. The Internet and Technology is just like the tree of good and evil. It can be used for both but ultimately it will be used to enslave. It was used for creating letting me create this site. It was used for helping the Gospel get published all over the world.
but… Just as they had snare and traps set for the ‘on their way to the Promised Land.

52The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat? 53Then Jesus said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, Except you eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54Whoever eats my flesh, and drinks my blood, has eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day. 55For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. 56He that eats my flesh, and drinks my blood, dwells in me, and I in him. 57As the living Father has sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eats me, even he shall live by me. 58This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eats of this bread shall live for ever.

DEUTERONOMY 28
14And you shall not go aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

…leaving you with a grenade in your chest
Prayer and staying in His word are
the only way we can part the waters we are swimming in.
It is the only way to keep our hearts from hardening.
Then our heart will guide these
… to get…
a deeper understanding of the gospel
a greater understanding of what was happening during biblical times.
Just as Moses led the Israelite’s out of slavery parting the Red Sea with a Rod
…the Heart beating in our chest, will guide the Rods of our eyes,
to direct us out of the bondage and waters we are now in.

From the beginning, in the garden of Eden, God created us to be in relationship with Him and to be His image bearers and to bear fruit unto him. Ever since Eve ate of the forbidden fruit, God has been working to restore His people, His Seed, and ultimately a restored Garden of Eden with His new Bride, while setting distinction and separation His seed, from the seed of the serpent.
Adam and Eve were first put in the 1st garden and were deceived. Jesus and His new Bride, who has not been deceived by the, will be placed in the new garden. l :

What God consider’s chaff, is the work of our own hands. It’s nothing more than vanity and worthlessness in his eyes. There is nothing more sobering than realizing the things you have built your life around are worthless in God’s eyes. That is another reason the picture of my grandfather hit me so hard. I have had my picture in the paper many times for accomplishments in basketball. I lived to be known and respected for my basketball ability. That it is how the serpent deceives. He inverts everything to make it about your glory instead of Gods. That is why my life was in such shambles after college. You are left with nothing once it ends. It’s Laboring in Vain.
Philippians 2

Before the Israelite’s finally made it to the Promised Land after wondering 40 years in the wilderness,
Moses spoke these words to Joshua, who was from the tribe of Ephraim, the son of Joseph.
