When Americans think back to the 2000s, it’s hard not to remember the negative parts of what Time Magazine called “the worst decade ever.” Americans felt a wash of sadness, anger and confusion over the September 11 attacks in 2001, traumatic events which set a spiral of game-changing events that the country would struggled to wrap it’s head around. From a Presidential election in 2000 whose results were bitterly disputed in the Fall to the almost apocalyptic near-collapse of the nation’s financial sector eight years later, it’s fair to say that the 2000s were a time of shock and change. Rapidly, many other parts of our lives—from where we shop to how we entertain ourselves—were radically reshaped by innovations and structural shifts that caused once-important institutions and traditions to vanish almost overnight, sometimes to be replaced just as quickly by new influences and trends.
But as we grappled with many difficult developments, not all of the change was negative. The 2000s were a time in which personal technology made quantum leaps, and our daily lives were altered by a stream of new gadgets with capabilities that would have seemed like science fiction just a decade or two before.
Moreover, the evolution of the Internet made it possible for people all over the planet to interact in new and transformative ways. The rising availability of vastly faster, always-on broadband connections turned the Internet from a novelty into an integral part of people’s daily lives. And it fundamentally changed the way that got information about the world, freeing us from dependence upon the morning newspaper or the evening TV news broadcast, and allowing us largely unfiltered continuous access to the perceptions and opinions of countless other ordinary individuals. Over the course of the decade, the amount of time that people spent accessing the Internet from their homes more than to 12.3 hours per week.

The first stage of producing the philosopher’s stone and the Magnus Opus (Great Work), Aether, which the gods are made of, all pieces of matter and particles are connected to it (the cloud) – the medium life force energy.
It refers to the primordial state before creation strictly combining 2 separate notions of primordial waters or darkness from which a new order emerges and a primordial state as merging of opposites, such as heaven and earth.

THE PRIMA MATERIA or FIRST MATTER
is the ubiquitous starting material required for the alchemical magnum opus and the creation of the philosopher’s stone. It is the primitive formless base of all matter similar to chaos, the quintessence, or aether. Esoteric alchemists describe the prima materia using simile, and compare it to concepts like the anima mundi. Alchemical authors used similes to describe the universal nature of the prima materia. Arthur Edward Waite states that all alchemical writers concealed its “true name”. Since the prima materia has all the qualities and properties of elementary things, the names of all kinds of things were assigned to it.THEATRUM CHEMICUM:
They have compared the “prima materia” to everything, to male and female, to the hermaphroditic monster, to heaven and earth, to body and spirit, chaos, microcosm, and the confused mass; it contains in itself all colors and potentially all metals; there is nothing more wonderful in the world, for it begets itself, conceives itself, and gives birth to itself.In alchemy, the term chrysopoeiameans transmutation into gold. It symbolically indicates the creation of the philosopher’s stone and the completion of the Great Work. The word was used in the title of an alchemical papyrus, THE CHRYSOPOEIA OF CLEOPATRA, which was written in the first centuries of the Christian era. The papyrus features the idea of “one the all” , a concept that is related to ouroboros and to hermetic wisdom. The famous ouroboros drawing from the early alchemical text THE CHRYSOPOEIA OF CLEOPATRA probably dating to third century Alexandria encloses the words “the all is one”.
Its black and white halves represent the Gnostic duality of existence, leading some to see it as an analog of the Taoist YIN and YANG symbol. The chrysopoeia ouroboros of Cleopatra the Alchemist is one of the oldest images of the ouroboros to be linked with the legendary opus of the alchemists, the philosopher’s stone. As a symbol of the eternal unity of all things, the cycle of birth and death from which the alchemist sought release and liberation, it was familiar to the alchemist and physician Sir Thomas Browne. In his A LETTER TO A FRIEND, a medical treatise full of case-histories and witty speculations upon the human condition, he wrote of it:…

Hg is the modern chemical symbol for mercury. The element was named after the Roman god Mercury, known for his speed and mobility. It is associated with the planet Mercury; the astrological symbol for the planet is also one of the alchemical symbols for the metal; the Sanskrit word for alchemy is Rasavātam which means “the way of mercury”. Mercury is the only metal for which the alchemical planetary name became the common name.Martin Ruland the Younger lists more than 50 synonyms for the PRIMA MATERIA in his 1612 alchemical dictionary. In the 19th and early 20th century, electricity was not part of the everyday life of many people, even in the industrialized Western world. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)
uses electromagnetic fields to automatically identify and track tags attached to objects. The tags contain electronically stored information. Passive tags collect energy from a nearby RFID reader’s interrogating radio waves. Active tags have a local power source such as a battery and may operate at hundreds of meters from the RFID reader. Unrecognized by the vast majority of peoples around the world is the greatest conspiracy of all time, sitting right out in the open in Washington DC and at the Vatican. It is an ancient, magical, talismanic diagram—the Lost Symbol—based on the history and cult of Isis, Osiris, Horus, and the prophecy of the deity’s return. Isis replaced the missing organ with an Obelisk and magically impregnated herself with Horus, the resurrected Osiris.
This legend formed the core of Egyptian cosmology and was fantastically venerated on the most imposing scale throughout all of Egypt by towering Obelisks, including at Karnak where the upright Obelisks (of Osiris) were “vitalized” or “stimulated” from the energy of the masturbatory Sun god Ra shining down upon them.
Modern people, especially in America, may view these symbols as profane or pornographic, but they were in fact ritualized objects the ancients believed could produce tangible reactions, properties, or “manifestations” within the material world. The Obelisk and Dome as imitations of the deities’ male and female reproductive organs could, through government representation, invoke into existence the being or beings symbolized by them. This is why inside the temple or Dome, temple prostitutes representing the human manifestation of the goddess were also available for ritual sex as a form of imitative magic…
Through such imitative sex, the Dome and Obelisk became “energy receivers” capable of assimilating Ra’s essence from the rays of the sun, which in turn drew forth the “seed” of the underworld Osiris. The seed of the dead deity would, according to the supernaturalism, transmit upward from out of the underworld through the base (testes) of the Obelisk and magically ejaculate from the tower’s head into the womb (Dome) of Isis. In Egypt, where raising Osiris to life through these magical constructs was perfected, Pharaoh served as the “fit extension” for the reborn god to take residence in as the “sex act” was ritualized at the site of the largest religious structure ever built —the temple of Amun-Ra at Karnak where Pharaoh became the receptacle of the spirit of Osiris during the festival of Opet. The festival was held at the temple of Luxor, where the Pharaoh entered the holy womb-temple beyond the Obelisk and was transmogrified into the living deity, the son of Amun-Ra and Osiris.

Switch on for the Large Hadron Collider at CERN happened on 10 September, 2008, marking the beginning of a physics experiment which intends to recreate conditions last seen a trillionth of a second after the Big Bang, (Creation).
The LHC is the world’s largest and highest-energy particle accelerator in the world that accelerates proton particle beams to a velocity just under the speed of light and then smashes them together in particle detector chambers in order to break apart the nuclei and unloose the subatomic secrets of matter.
The process gives the physicists clues about how the particles interact, and provides insights into the fundamental laws of nature. At full power it produces roughly 600 million collisions per second creating fleeting atomic explosions up to a million times hotter than the interior of the sun.
The data collected from these explosions is captured by the world wide LHC computing grid. The Worldwide LHC
Computing Grid comprises over 170 computing facilities in a worldwide network across 36 countries.
The grid builds on the technology of the World Wide Web which was also invented at CERN in 1989.
The collider is composed of some 9,600 super magnets which are 100,000 times more powerful than the gravitational pull of Earth that fire protons around a circular track at mindboggling speeds. A beam might rotate for up to 10 hours, travelling a distance of more than 10 billion kilometers, enough to make it to the far reaches of our Solar System and back again. DARK MATTER
Unlike normal matter, dark matter does not interact with the electromagnetic force. This means it does not absorb, reflect or emit light, making it extremely hard to spot. In fact, researchers have been able to infer the existence of dark matter only from the gravitational effect it seems to have on visible matter. Dark matter seems to outweigh visible matter roughly six to one, making up about 27% of the universe. Here’s a sobering fact: The matter we know and that makes up all stars and galaxies only accounts for 5% of the content of the universe! But what is dark matter? Dark energy makes up approximately 68% of the universe and appears to be associated with the vacuum in space. It is distributed evenly throughout the universe, not only in space but also in time – in other words, its effect is not diluted as the universe expands. The even distribution means that dark energy does not have any local gravitational effects, but rather a global effect on the universe as a whole. Psychologically speaking, the mysterious prima materia re-presents, and
is to be discovered in, the parts of the psyche that we deny, dis-own and marginalize, the aspects of ourselves that we feel ashamed of, revulsion for and turn away from in disgust.
The tantalizing prima materia had a dangerous, toxic aspect, however, and was considered “bedeviled,” causing insanity if not approached with the highest regard.

Daniel 4 : The Second Dream Fulfilled
28All this came on the king Nebuchadnezzar. 33The same hour was the thing fulfilled on Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles’ feathers, and his nails like birds’ claws.
Though potentially deadly, the prima materia contains within itself its own medicine, which is to say that the alchemical process is its own solution. The prima materia is a quantum phenomenon, in that it is of an indeterminate nature of open-ended potentiality, and contains within itself both the poison and the medicine.
The more virulent the poison, the more powerful are its potential healing qualities. Accomplished alchemists are able to transmute the poison into healing nectar, just like when a peacock eats poison, its multi-colored plumage gets even brighter.
The prima materia is a higher-dimensional phenomenon which serves to unite both of the opposites – dark and light – into a higher synthesis.
Genesis 3 : The Serpent’s Deception
1Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, Yes, has God said, You shall not eat of every tree of the garden? 2And the woman said to the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: 3But of the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said, You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest you die. 4And the serpent said to the woman, You shall not surely die: 5For God does know that in the day you eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be as gods, knowing good and evil
How the mercurial and shape-shifting prima materia actually manifests depends upon how we dream it.
Jung contemplates,
“Yet nobody has ever known what this primal matter is. The alchemists did not know, and nobody has found out what was really meant by it, because it is a substance in the unconscious which is needed for the incarnation of the god.”
Contemplating an indescribable divine mystery, according to Jung, “the alchemists did not really know what they were writing about,” certainly not with their conceptual mind. Not knowing what they were trying to articulate, the unconscious itself was simultaneously living through the alchemists as it revealed itself to them.
This explains the alchemists’ oftentimes confusing, contradictory, and inscrutable description of their art. This lack of consistency and intellectual rigor has led the overly rational and intellectually-minded scientific community to completely dismiss and reject alchemy as being unscientific, irrational nonsense. In their rejection of alchemy, however, modern day scientists are acting out in the world their very rejection of the irrational prima materia within themselves.
In its original form, the paradoxical prima materia contains the most incompatible possible opposites inherent in the human psyche within itself in uncombined form. An eruption of the unconscious, the prima materia is often symbolized as a dragon, as it is the personification of the instinctual psyche. The prima materia is an “increatum,” an “uncreated,” autonomous, self-generating, spirit-like entity which is the root of itself and rooted in itself and is dependent on nothing.
Jung tells us,
“It is a characteristic of the arcane [esoteric, secret] substance to have ‘everything it needs;’ it is a fully autonomous being, like the dragon [uroboros] that begets, reproduces, slays and devours itself …a being without beginning or end, and in need of ‘no second.’ Such a thing can by definition only be God himself.”
Speaking of the ineffable prima materia, an alchemical text says,
“Thus the supreme artist [i.e., God] has prepared a great uncreated mystery.”
The ungraspable prima materia is considered to be the virginal mother which gives birth to the lapis. The prima materia is also considered to be an orphan because it is so completely unique and utterly one of a kind. It is seemingly hard to find because it is found everywhere.
To quote an ancient alchemist,
“the prima materia is the Subject of the Great Stone of the Philosophers, which the whole World has before its eyes yet knows not.”
Jung clarifies this idea when he says,
“The prima materia has the quality of ubiquity, it can be found always and everywhere, which is to say that projection can take place always and everywhere.”
The prima materia is found in the projections of our unconscious, which are located inside of our head and outside in the world at the same time, as the inner and outer are an undivided continuum.
Alchemy is an expression of the fact that light is hidden in darkness, that the deepest blessings are found in the distressing dark shadows of the human psyche. Jung amplifies the darkness when he writes,
“The prima materia is ‘saturnine,’ and the malefic Saturn is the abode of the devil, or again it is the most despised and rejected thing, ‘thrown out into the street,’ ‘cast on the dung-hill,’ ‘found in filth.’”
The alchemists were having a deepening experience of God which included both light and dark, good and evil, an experience which was a projection of a deep process of integration that the alchemists must have been going through within themselves.
Jung points out that,
“…in alchemy an attempt was made at a symbolical integration of evil by locating the divine drama of redemption in man himself.”
This involved a process of coming to terms with the unconscious, which always becomes a necessity when we are confronted with its darkness. This confrontation forced itself on the alchemists as soon as they made a serious effort to find the prima materia. The prima materia was a genuine numinosum, a holy, psychic/spiritual substance which allowed the alchemists to consciously experience both the light and dark sides of God within themselves.
As Jung puts it,
“the individual is confronted with the abysmal contradictions of human nature, and this confrontation in turn leads to the possibility of a direct experience of light and darkness, of Christ and the devil.”
In the prima materia, the alchemists were literally dreaming up a “Holy Grail-like” receptacle to hold, embrace, reflect, embody, integrate and potentially liberate all of their vast range of often contradictory projections. This sacred substance included and united their image of God and the Devil, thereby helping them come to a fuller understanding of the vastness of the Self, the totality of our being, which includes both light and dark.
There is an alchemical saying “solve et coagula,”dissolve and coagulate (which correspond to the alchemical operations “solutio” and “coagulatio”).
The alchemists were dissolving and regenerating elements of their experience and their identity both over time, as well as in each and every moment, so as to potentially distill, re-constitute and create something new within themselves. De-solidifying, de-literalizing and de-constructing
their experience in each moment empowered the alchemists to actively participate in their own transformation and evolution. The alchemists saw the essence of their art as both analytic and synthetic, as it involved separation, discrimination and analysis on the one hand, and synthesis, consolidation and integration on the other.
The Goat of Mendes or BAPHOMET is a Goat Headed deity, being formed of both male and female principles, with a Caduceus of Mercury in place of its Phallus. One arm points up and one down , with the Latin ‘ solve et coagula‘ written on them.
Saturn, the corrupted patriarchy, mythologically speaking, is the governor of the prison, the one who binds us and seemingly limits our freedom, while simultaneously being the supreme tester and great purifier.
Paradox is the language of alchemy, as it is an expression of the unified point of view in which the seeming opposites are not so opposed to each other after
all.
The synchronic order, whose timing frequency is a universal factor of synchronization, is a realm of infinite interconnectedness and inter-resonance between everything and everything else. In the synchronic realm the microcosm and macrocosm are synchronistic, mirrored reflections of each other, different iterations of the same underlying, harmonic fractal. This inter-nested fractal reflects a singular nowness eternally unfolding in endlessly diverse and novel patterns.

To the alchemists, creating the philosophers’ stone was analogous to waking up to the dreamlike nature of the universe.
Becoming lucid in the waking dream is seen as a reflection of God’s ongoing creation of and incarnation into the world. Just like every little piece of a hologram contains the whole hologram, each individual is a reflection of the whole.
Jung wrote,
“For the alchemists the process of individuation represented by the opus was an analogy of the creation of the world, and the opus itself an analogy of God’s work of creation. Man was seen as a microcosm, a complete equivalent of the world in miniature.”

THEURGY (operation of the gods)
describes the practice of rituals, sometimes seen as magical in nature, performed with the intention of invoking the action or evoking the presence of one or more gods, especially with the goal of achieving henosis (uniting with the divine) and perfecting oneself.
- Proclus (c. 480): theurgy is “a power higher than all human wisdom embracing the blessings of divination, the purifying powers of initiation and in a word all the operations of divine possession”[1]
- Keith Thomas: “Spiritual magic or theurgy was based on the idea that one could reach God in an ascent up the scale of creation made possible by a rigorous course of prayer, fasting and devotional preparation.”[2]
- Pierre A. Riffard: “Theurgy is a type of magic. It consists of a set of magical practices performed to evoke beneficent spirits in order to see them or know them or in order to influence them, for instance by forcing them to animate a statue, to inhabit a human being (such as a medium), or to disclose mysteries.”[3]
Theurgy means “divine-working”. The first recorded use of the term is found in the mid-second-century neo-Platonist work the Chaldean Oracles (Fragment 153 des Places (Paris, 1971): ‘For the theourgoí do not fall under the fate-governed herd’).[4] The source of Western theurgy can be found in the philosophy of late Neoplatonists, especially Iamblichus of Chalcis. In late Neoplatonism, the spiritual Universe is regarded as a series of emanations from the One. From the One emanated the Divine Mind (Nous) and in turn from the Divine Mind emanated the World Soul (Psyche). Neoplatonists insisted that the One is absolutely transcendent and in the emanations nothing of the higher was lost or transmitted to the lower, which remained unchanged by the lower emanations. Although the Neoplatonists are considered polytheists, they embraced a form of monism.
For Plotinus, and Iamblichus’ teachers Anatolius and Porphyry, the emanations are as follows:
- To Hen (τό ἕν), The One: Deity without quality, sometimes called The Good.
- Nous (Νοῦς), Mind: The Universal consciousness, from which proceeds
- Psychē (Ψυχή), Soul: Including both individual and world soul, leading finally to
- Physis (Φύσις), Nature.
Plotinus urged contemplations for those who wished to perform theurgy, the goal of which was to reunite with The Divine (called henosis).
Therefore, his school resembles a school of meditation or contemplation. Iamblichus of Chalcis, a student of Porphyry (who himself was a student of Plotinus) taught a more ritualized method of theurgy that involved invocation and religious, as well as magical, ritual.[5] Iamblichus believed theurgy was an imitation of the gods, and in his major work, On the Egyptian Mysteries, he described theurgic observance as “ritualized cosmogony” that endowed embodied souls with the divine responsibility of creating and preserving the cosmos.
Iamblichus’ analysis was that the transcendent cannot be grasped with mental contemplation because the transcendent is supra-rational. Theurgy is a series of rituals and operations aimed at recovering the transcendent essence by retracing the divine ‘signatures’ through the layers of being.[6] Education is important for comprehending the scheme of things as presented by Aristotle, Plato and Pythagoras. The theurgist works ‘like with like’: at the material level, with physical symbols; at the higher level, with mental and purely spiritual practices. Starting with correspondences of the divine in matter, the theurgist eventually reaches the level where the soul’s inner divinity unites with The Divine.[7]
The Emperor Julian (332-363) embraced Neoplatonic philosophy and worked to replace Christianity with a version of Neoplatonic paganism. Because of his untimely death and the hold mainstream Christianity had over the empire at the time, this was ultimately unsuccessful, but he did produce several works of philosophy and theology, including a popular hymn to the sun. In his theology, Helios, the sun, was the ideal example of the perfection of the gods and light, a symbol of divine emanation. He also held the mother goddess Cybele in high esteem.
Julian favored ritual theurgy, with an emphasis on sacrifice and prayer. He was heavily influenced by Iamblichus‘ ideas.
Theurgy, in the esoteric tradition, uses this knowledge to heighten one’s own spiritual nature.[8] It is the practice of trying to gain the knowledge and conversation of one’s Higher Self, or Inner God, to teach one spiritual truths and wisdom from God that one couldn’t learn from man (see Alchemy, Kabbalah, and Theosophy).[citation needed] Some esoteric branches hold that if an adept, Rosicrucian or Theosophist practices it, he or she could potentially rise to the degree of Magus or Adept after a certain level of spiritual attainment. In a traditional and magical sense, theurgy is seen as the opposite of Goetia, even though many argue that they overlap.[9]
Some organizations, such as The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn claim to teach a type of theurgy that would help one ascend spiritually as well
as understand the true nature of the self and its relation to the Divine and the Universe. The Golden Dawn has a somewhat significant historical following and influence;[10] while it is held that many theurgists are usually solitary practitioners and seek the divine light alone through ritual and inner spiritual and psychological equilibration. Theurgy in this hermetic sense stresses the need for the individual to separate and analyze the individual components that constitute everyday consciousness and reunite them in a way that changes one’s personal awareness into a state that understands and partakes in spiritual grace.[11]

The highest sephirah, Kether, holds the most divine light and is the least accessible to humanity. The lowest sephirah, Malkuth, is still higher than matter itself, so the parallel with
Neoplatonism is not complete, but Malkuth is considered that aspect of God that can be perceived in the material world. It is also known as the Shekhinah.
For the Kabbalist, God is a single oneness, not separate “gods”. The teaching avoids polytheism by insisting that the sephirot are not to be prayed to, but rather, to be meditated on and experienced as manifestations of how God acts in the world. They are envisioned as arranged in three columns, in a pattern called the Tree of Life. By meditating on the sephirot and praying for their unification, Kabbalists seek the theurgic goal of healing a shattered world.
For Kabbalists, the sephirot are as follows: Kether (Crown); Chokmah (Wisdom); Binah (Understanding); Chesed (Loving kindness); Geburah (Strength); Tiphareth (Beauty); Netzach (Endurance); Hod(Glory); Yesod (Foundation); and Malkuth (Kingdom or Sovereignty).
To understand what Babylon is we must first understand what happened in the garden of Eden because Nimrod was attempting to re-create the pre-flood city God destroyed. He created the mystery religion based off the allegories of the alchemical principles and processes taught by the serpent from Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil required to accomplish this feat.
