On MAY 4TH, 2016, my company took us for a team building exercise to play the ESCAPE GAME. This day ended up being a day that forever changed my life though I didn’t realize at the time.
May4th is in the 17thweek of the year.
If you’ve never played, it’s a game where a group will go into a room and you have an hour to gather all the clues to unlock the door and break out. I was dreading going cause I hate these types of things and I was really tired but something told me I needed to go. That day happened to be one of the peak days of my overwhelm and frustration. On my way there, I actually pulled off the side of the road and just started crying. I felt God had put a prompting in my heart but I was overwhelmed with what I thought He was calling me to do. I was crying out to Him a conversation that went like this: “IS THIS REALLY WHAT YOU WANT ME TO BE DOING AND WHY?”
The more I saw happening around me the heavier my heart got. My brain felt like it was going to explode with all the research I was doing. I felt like God was removing the scales from eyes for a purpose but I really wasn’t sure where it was going to lead.
I finally drug myself to the game. They have 5 different rooms. A different game in each room.
One of the first clues we were given in our room was this bible verse…
LUKE 13:29People will come from east and west and north and south, and will recline at the table in the kingdom of God.I was not much help during the game. I was basically just standing there looking at all the interesting stuff in the rooms. There was a book in there that caught my attention called “MUSIC CITY BABYLON” . I had been doing the majority of my research on trying to figure out what the heck babylon was.
As time was running out, there was a map hanging encased in a box with a SILVER BALL at the bottom of the casing.
The clue said “THE SHORTEST DISTANCE IS A STRAIGHT LINE”
So we were supposed to u
se the MAGNET to DRAG THE SILVER BALL, which was behind the map, and DRAG IT ACROSS TO EACH OF THE 4 DIFFERENT CITIES. There wasn’t a line to follow on the map to follow You just saw the destination. If you veered off the very narrow path it allowed for, while you were dragging it, the ball would drop and you would have to start over. After about 4th time of the ball dropping, and time running out, I finally saw a wooden board, which was a shelf that we had removed during the game, lying on the floor. I grabbed and put it up there for them to use as a ruler to guide the ball in a straight line. It worked and the door opened.
We were the only team that actually “Escaped” in time. I didn’t think much of it what had happened during the game, until the next morning when I looked at that verse that were given. I was honestly just glad that we were done, and I could go home.

It was in context of THE NARROW GATE.
Just a couple of months prior to this work event, I had created this site “NarrowGateEntrance” not really knowing what it would lead to. I really named it that in hopes of figuring out what it truly meant and to figure out if I would be able to enter into it. Little did I know, how quickly God would answer my prayer that day as I was heading to the game. Little did I know, the depth of how God would end up answering that prayer. Little did I know, how much of a parallel it was with my life and my walk. My whole life I pretty much have kind of done my own thing. I participated and was there but was not really sure what I was supposed to be doing, ie my walk. I went to church growing up. I went to Sunday school. I participated but nothing past that. I procrastinate and wait until the last minute on just about everything. I participated in the Escape Game but wasn’t of any use until the very end. The other members of the team got us to that point, but at the end, during the confusion and panic, I was able to see something that they didn’t that would help us lead us to the open door. Likewise, other followers of Christ have helped me to this point, and I feel he has revealed things to me that other people aren’t seeing.

In Genesis, Joseph dreams that his brother’s FRUIT WOULD BOW DOWN to his and also the sun, moon, and 11 stars.
Meaning the fruit he produced would be more acceptable in the site of God than his brothers.
Just as Able offered a more acceptable sacrifice then Cain did.

After Joshua from the tribe of Ephraim, led them to the Promised Land after Moses had died, they had judges set over them.

The Northern Kingdom did nothing different than what Solomon did under his rule.
In 721 BC God had Assyria conquer Sumeria and take the Northern Kingdom captive to Assyria.
God divorced the Northern Kingdom because they hardened their hearts and rejected God’s Law in pursuing other gods.They are truly, no longer His people.

Israel, the Northern Kingdom, Exiled
They served Baal. “Baal” is the Canaanite name of “Nimrod” who built the tower.
You would think with all that happened to the Northern Kingdom, the Southern Kingdom would make it a lesson learned for themselves.

The Northern Kingdom, however, never returned and rarely acknowledged as unified entity in scripture again, because they were eventually dispersed and never returned to Sumeria, like the Southern Kingdom returned to Judah.

This was a great mystery to all the priests and rabbis.They wondered how can He remarry the very one He divorced and declared to have given herself over to prostitution.God can not break the very righteous laws that define his own Righteousness.Breaking the law of God is Sin, the law defines sin according to God’s own words. God cannot Sin.How then can God remarry the lost sheep of Israel without breaking His own Law?This is what Paul referred to as the Great Mystery of the Gospel.

THIS IS THE HANDWRITING OF ORDINANCES WRITTEN ON THE SCROLL that were contrary to us or against us and that were washed off the scroll into the cup. Then was nailed to the cross and to Jesus. HE HAD TO DRINK AS PRESCRIBED IN THE LAW FOR THE WIFE (ISRAEL) ACCUSED OF ADULTERY. This is the curse mentioned in Numbers 5:21, that he took away from us.

NAILING THAT JUDGEMENT TO THE CROSS.
He had to drink from the cup, the cup of bitter water, that was to given to the wife, accused of adultery.
He knew what the outcome of the cup would bring, therefore he prayed for it be taken away, while in the Garden of Gethsemane. It was these ordinances written on the scroll that were contrary to us or against us and that were washed off the scroll into the cup. Then was nailed to the cross and to Jesus.

My Grandfather passed away in 2009and at his funeral the amount of people that came and told me the impact he had on their life made me think on how I was living my life. When he passed away God stirred up my heart. I knew the life I was leading was not pleasing to Him. I knew I would not have that same reception as my grandfather had my time ended then. I really started seeking the Lord with all my heart and It was when God started opening my eyes and started to give me understanding.

Here is my grandfather passing out Gideon Bibles at Ole Miss.
Gideon from the Tribe of Manassah, son of Joseph. Gideon was used by God to defeat the Midianite’s and tore down the altar of Baal which is the Canaanite name for Nimrod.
As I have worked on this site, I have fought and wrestled with God. I have been frustrated and exhausted and overwhelmed.
Every time I look at this picture it reminds me of why I am here and what He has called me to do and to stop complaining.

God Chose Abraham out of the 70 nations that gathered and built the tower at Babel and established his covenant with Him. He promised to make his a seed as numerous as the stars and promised to give him the land of Canaan.
