The overarching narrative in the bible is the storyline of the shepherd and his sheep which all traces back to Rachel, “the wife Jacob loved most”, and her 1st born son, Joseph, who “Jacob loved the most out of the 12 tribes”.

GENESIS 29 :  JACOB MEETS RACHEL

1Then Jacob went on his journey, and came into the land of the people of the east. 2And he looked, and behold a well in the field, and, see, there were three flocks of sheep lying by it; for out of that well they watered the flocks: and a great stone was on the well’s mouth. 3And thither were all the flocks gathered: and they rolled the stone from the well’s mouth, and watered the sheep, and put the stone again on the well’s mouth in his place. 4And Jacob said to them, My brothers, from where be you? And they said, Of Haran are we. 5And he said to them, Know you Laban the son of Nahor? And they said, We know him. 6And he said to them, Is he well? And they said, He is well: and, behold, Rachel^[h7354] his daughter comes with the sheep.  7And he said, See, it is yet high day, neither is it time that the cattle should be gathered together: water you the sheep, and go and feed them. 8And they said, We cannot, until all the flocks be gathered together, and till they roll the stone from the well’s mouth; then we water the sheep.

The key is to understanding Revelation is understanding the story of Rachel and her handmaid Bilhah and their 1st born sons.   Rachel was jealous of Leah because Leah was able to conceive with Jacob and Rachel could not.   So she gave Jacob her handmaid Bilhah to conceive her a son.   Rachel named the child that her handmaid conceived Dan which means (“judge”) because she said God has judged me.

Jacob ended up having 12 sons which became the 12 tribes of Israel. 

Rachel ended up having 2 sons  

After Rachel died, Reuben who was Jacob’s first born son through Leah, slept with Bilhah.  Because of this, Reuben lost his 1st born birth right and it was given to Joseph.

Genesis 35

And it came to pass, when Israel dwelt in that land, that Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father’s concubine: and Israel heard [it]. Now the sons of Jacob were twelve:

We see this account expounded upon in the Book of Jasher.

13 And it was after the death of Rachel, that Jacob pitched his tent in the tent of her handmaid Bilhah. 14 And Reuben was jealous for his mother Leah on account of this, and he was filled with anger, and he rose up in his anger and went and entered the tent of Bilhah and he thence removed his father’s bed.  15 At that time the portion of birthright, together with the kingly and priestly offices, was removed from the sons of Reuben, for he had profaned his father’s bed, and the birthright was given unto Joseph, the kingly office to Judah, and the priesthood unto Levi, because Reuben had defiled his father’s bed.  16 And these are the generations of Jacob who were born to him in Padan-aram, and the sons of Jacob were twelve. 17 The sons of Leah were Reuben the first born, and Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, and their sister Dinah; and the sons of Rachel were Joseph and Benjamin.

While they were in Canaan Joseph was feeding the flock with Rachel and Leah’s handmaids and dreamed that their fruit would would bow down to his and they became Jealous of him.

Genesis 37 : Joseph’s Dreams

1And Jacob dwelled in the land wherein his father was a stranger, in the land of Canaan. 2These are the generations of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brothers; and the lad was with the sons of Bilhah, and with the sons of Zilpah, his father’s wives: and Joseph brought to his father their evil report. 3Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colors. 4And when his brothers saw that their father loved him more than all his brothers, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably to him

5And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brothers: and they hated him yet the more. 6And he said to them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed: 7For, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and, see, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf. 8And his brothers said to him, Shall you indeed reign over us? or shall you indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words.

9And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brothers, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me. 10And he told it to his father, and to his brothers: and his father rebuked him, and said to him, What is this dream that you have dreamed? Shall I and your mother and your brothers indeed come to bow down ourselves to you to the earth? 11And his brothers envied^[H7065] him; but his father observed the saying.

The brothers sold him into slavery and he was carried into Egypt. 

While in Egypt, Joseph had 2 sons, Manassah and Ephraim

Because of famine Israel moved his family from the land of Canaan

to the Land of Goshen, just outside of Egypt 

and the 70 souls which came from Jacob would multiply into the nation of Israel

  It is here where Israel blesses the sons of Joseph.  

 Israel even claims that’s Joseph’s sons are to be treated as his.  

GENESIS 48 : JACOB BLESSES EPHRAIM AND MANASSEH

 EXODUS 1: THE ISRAELITES MULTIPLY IN EGYPT

1Now these are the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt; every man and his household came with Jacob. 2Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, 3Issachar, Zebulun, and Benjamin, 4Dan, and Naphtali, Gad, and Asher. 5And all the souls that came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls: for Joseph was in Egypt already.6And Joseph died, and all his brothers, and all that generation. 7And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them. 

OPPRESSION BY A NEW PHARAOH

8Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph. 9And he said to his people, Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we:10Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falls out any war, they join also to our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land. 11Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses.

After Israel had been fruitful and multiplied, Joseph died and a Pharoah rose up and afflicted Israel.

God then uses Moses to lead the Exodus out of Egypt. 

Israel became God’s Firstborn Son of God.

EXODUS 4 : MOSES LEAVES FOR EGYPT 

  22And you shall say to Pharaoh, Thus said the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn:   

EPHRAIM, who received the 1st born blessing

was prophesied to be the fullness of the nations, those belonging to God.

So from God’s perspective you are either of HIS nation, or of THE nations.

We see that the shepherd will separate the sheep from the goats when all the nations are gathered before him. 

Matthew 25 : The Sheep and the Goats

31When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit on the throne of his glory: 32And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats: 33And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 

When Israel got to Mount Sinai and Moses went up to receive the Law from God, Israel made the Gold Calf and God became Jealous

EXODUS 32 : THE GOLDEN CALF (Deuteronomy 9:7-29)

1And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together to Aaron, and said to him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we know not what is become of him. 2And Aaron said to them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them to me. 3And all the people broke off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them to Aaron. 4And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a engraving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be your gods, O Israel, which brought you up out of the land of Egypt. 5And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, To morrow is a feast to the LORD. 6And they rose up early on the morrow, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.

MOSES INFORMED OF ISRAEL’S SIN

7And the LORD said to Moses, Go, get you down; for your people, which you brought out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves: 8They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be your gods, O Israel, which have brought you up out of the land of Egypt. 9And the LORD said to Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiff necked people: 10Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of you a great nation.

11And Moses sought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why does your wrath wax hot against your people, which you have brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand? 12Why should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from your fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against your people. 13Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, your servants, to whom you swore by your own self, and said to them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give to your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever. 14And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do to his people.

MOSES DESCENDS WITH THE TABLETS

15And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written. 16And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven on the tables. 17And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said to Moses, There is a noise of war in the camp. 18And he said, It is not the voice of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of them that cry for being overcome:  but the noise of them that sing do I hear.

MOSES BREAKS THE TABLETS

19And it came to pass, as soon as he came near to the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses’ anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and broke them beneath the mount.

20And he took the calf which they had made,  and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder,

and strewed it on the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.

21And Moses said to Aaron, What did this people to you, that you have brought so great a sin on them? 22And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my lord wax hot: you know the people, that they are set on mischief. 23For they said to me, Make us gods, which shall go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we know not what is become of him.24And I said to them, Whoever has any gold, let them break it off. So they gave it me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf. 25And when Moses saw that the people were naked; (for Aaron had made them naked to their shame among their enemies:) 

26Then Moses stood in the GATE OF THE CAMP, and said, WHO IS ON THE LORD’S SIDE?

let him come to me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together to him. 27And he said to them, Thus said the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbor. 28And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men. 29For Moses had said, Consecrate yourselves today to the LORD, even every man on his son, and on his brother; that he may bestow on you a blessing this day.

MOSES INTERCEDES FOR ISRAEL

30And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said to the people, You have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up to the LORD; peradventure I shall make an atonement for your sin. 31And Moses returned to the LORD, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold. 32Yet now, if you will forgive their sin—; and if not, blot me, I pray you, out of your book which you have written. 33And the LORD said to Moses, Whoever has sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.34Therefore now go, lead the people to the place of which I have spoken to you: behold, my Angel shall go before you: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin on them. 35And the LORD plagued the people, because they made the calf, which Aaron made.

EXODUS 34 : THE TABLETS ARE REPLACED 

For thou shalt worship no other god:  for the LORD, whose name is Jealous^[h7067], is a jealous^[h7067] God.

After Moses broke the tablets, and ground the golden calf into powder

and made them drink it,

Moses went back up to the mount and received the Law from God

and God established His covenant with Israel at Mt. Sinai.

When stationed in the wilderness after the Exodus out of Egypt

they were all of Rachel’s children and grandchildren were

stationed together in the West and were known as the Camp of Ephraim, Joseph’s Son.

what Jesus did for us on the Cross as well as Revelation.

It is the same curse that the children of Israel took after making the Golden Calf,

which Moses ground to powder and made them drink from.

16And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before the LORD: 17And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water: 18And the priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and uncover the woman’s head, and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which is the jealousy offering: and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water that causes the curse: 19And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say to the woman, If no man have lain with you, and if you have not gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of your husband, be you free from this bitter water that causes the curse: 20But if you have gone aside to another instead of your husband, and if you be defiled, and some man have lain with you beside your husband:21Then the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall say to the woman, The LORD make you a curse and an oath among your people, when the LORD does make your thigh to rot, and your belly to swell; 22And this water that causes the curse shall go into your bowels, to make your belly to swell, and your thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, Amen, amen.

23And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot them out with the bitter water: 24And he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that causes the curse: and the water that causes the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter. 25Then the priest shall take the jealousy offering out of the woman’s hand, and shall wave the offering before the LORD, and offer it on the altar: 26And the priest shall take an handful of the offering, even the memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, and afterward shall cause the woman to drink the water. 27And when he has made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that causes the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people. 28And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed.

29This is the law of jealousies, when a wife goes aside to another instead of her husband, and is defiled;30Or when the spirit of jealousy^[h7068]comes on him, and he be jealous^[h7065]over his wife, and shall set the woman before the LORD, and the priest shall execute on her all this law. 31Then shall the man be guiltless from iniquity, and this woman shall bear her iniquity.

Just before entering the promised land 40 years later,

we see God adding a new covenant,

to that which was given to the generation before. 

   The covenant that came to the first generation under Moses,

 were not so much the instructions, 

but the blessings and curses that would result

pending the obedience or disobedience to the Law.

The COVENANT AT MOAB was an expansion of the blessings and curses given at Horeb.

After this covenant the Israelites began taking back the land of Canaan, 

and eventually decided to have a king over them.

Under King Solomon rule, he led Israel to follow other gods.

 God said He would scatter them among the nations, 

if they didn’t follow his instructions.

After Solomon died, He gave 10 tribes of Israel to Jeroboam and 2 to Judah.

We must remember it was Ephraim that was promised to be the fullness of the nations.

 The Gentiles.  The fullness of those not belonging to God.

when he was given control of the Northern Kingdom of Israel

After 200 years of Idolatry, God divorced the Northern Kingdom of Israel.

The Birth of Joseph

Jesus the shepered from  the Tribe of Judah who received the Kingly and priestly offices, whose scepter is the law, sent out his Holy Spirit which enscribed the Law onto our Hearts.

Them “bowing at the feet” is in reference to GENESIS 37 when Joseph,

and Joseph brought back an evil report to Jacob.

Metaphorically meaning, the Fruit of the works of their hands,

inventions and technological innovations, from knowledge provided from the serpent,

would bow down to the Fruit of Joseph’s, the fruit of the spirit, and the work of God’s hands

The Key of David

He who is holy, who is true, who has the key of David,

Freemasonry or Masonry consists of fraternal organisations that trace their origins to the local fraternities of stonemasons, which from the end of the fourteenth century regulated the qualifications of stonemasons and their interaction with authorities and clients. The degrees of freemasonry retain the three grades of medieval craft guilds, those of Apprentice, Journeyman or fellow (now called Fellowcraft), and Master Mason. These are the degrees offered by Craft (or Blue Lodge) Freemasonry. Members of these organisations are known as Freemasons or Masons. There are additional degrees, which vary with locality and jurisdiction, and are usually administered by different bodies than the craft degrees.

The bulk of Masonic ritual consists of degree ceremonies. Candidates for Freemasonry are progressively initiated into Freemasonry, first in the degree of Entered Apprentice. Some time later, in a separate ceremony, they will be passed to the degree of Fellowcraft, and finally they will be raised to the degree of Master Mason.

In all of these ceremonies, the candidate is entrusted with passwords, signs and grips (secret handshakes) peculiar to his new rank.^[5] Another ceremony is the annual installation of the Master and officers of the Lodge.^[2] In some jurisdictions Installed Master is valued as a separate rank, with its own secrets to distinguish its members.^[6] In other jurisdictions, the grade is not recognized, and no inner ceremony conveys new secrets during the installation of a new Master of the Lodge.^[7]

Freemasonry describes itself as a “‘beautiful system of morality, veiled in allegory and illustrated by symbols”.^[34] The symbolism is mainly, but not exclusively, drawn from the manual tools of stonemasons – the square and compasses, the level and plumb rule, the trowel, among others. A moral lesson is attached to each of these tools, although the assignment is by no means consistent. The meaning of the symbolism is taught and explored through ritual.^[11]

 

All Freemasons begin their journey in the “craft” by being progressively initiated, passed and raised into the three degrees of Craft, or Blue Lodge Masonry. During these three rituals, the candidate is progressively taught the meanings of the Lodge symbols, and entrusted with grips, signs and words to signify to other Masons that he has been so initiated. The initiations are part allegory and part lecture, and revolve around the construction of the Temple of Solomon, and the artistry and death of his chief architect, Hiram Abiff. The degrees are those of Entered apprentice, Fellowcraft and Master Mason. While many different versions of these rituals exist, with at least two different lodge layouts and versions of the Hiram myth, each version is recognisable to any Freemason from any jurisdiction.^[11]

Baphomet  (/ˈbæfoʊmɛt/) is a term originally used to describe an idol or other deity that the Knights Templar were accused of worshipping and that subsequently was incorporated into disparate occult and mystical traditions. It appeared as a term for a pagan idol in trial transcripts of the Inquisition of the Knights Templar in the early 14th century.

 

Since 1856, the name Baphomet has been associated with a “Sabbatic Goat”image drawn by Eliphas Levi^[3].  Lévi’s depiction of Baphomet is similar to that of The Devil in early Tarot.  Lévi, working with correspondences different from those later used by S. L. MacGregor Mathers, “equated the Devil Tarot key with Mercury,” giving “his figure Mercury’s caduceus, rising like a phallus from his groin.“

 

  Lévi believed that the alleged devil worship of the medieval Witches’ Sabbath was a perpetuation of ancient pagan rites. A goat with a candle between its horns appears in medieval witchcraft records,^[49]  and other pieces of lore are cited in DOGME et RITUEL.

Cremation of Care

In 1881, the ceremony of the Cremation of Care was first conducted after the various individual performances, with James F. Bowman as Sire.^[5] The ceremony was further expanded in 1893 by a member named Joseph D. Redding,^[6] with a Midsummer High Jinks entitled The Sacrifice in the Forest, or simply “DRUID JINX“, in which brotherly love and Christianity battled and won against paganism, converting the druids away from bloody sacrifice.^[7] Redding formed the framework of the ceremony but the main actors, including George Tisdale Bromley as High Priest, were asked to supply their own major speeches.^[7] In 1904, the prologue to William Henry Irwin’s Grove Play The Hamadryads included text such as “Touch their world-blind eyes with fairy unguents.”

 

The play depicted the intrusion, the battles, and the symbolic death of the maleficent Spirit of Care.[8]  The ceremony involves the poling across a lake of a small boat containing an effigy of Care (called “Dull Care”).  Dark, hooded figures receive from the ferryman the effigy which is placed on an altar, and, at the end of the ceremony, set on fire.  This “cremation” symbolizes that members are banishing the “dull cares” of conscience.[14]   At the time the script was developed, the primary meaning of the word ‘care’ (< O.E. cearu, “anxiety, anguish”) was synonymous with ‘worry’, having more negative connotations than in modern times when it tends to be associated more positively with compassion.[15]

 

The ceremony takes place in front of the Owl Shrine, a 40-foot (12 m) hollow owl statue made of concrete over steel supports. The moss- and lichen-covered statue simulates a natural rock formation, yet holds electrical and audio equipment within it. During the ceremony, a recording is used as the voice of the Owl. For many years the recorded voice was club guest Walter Cronkite.^[16] Music and pyrotechnics accompany the ritual for dramatic effect.
