Keep My Commandments
Numbers 15 : The Law of Tassels
37And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 38Speak to the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put on the fringe of the borders a ribbon of blue: 39And it shall be to you for a fringe, that you may look on it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that you seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which you use to go a whoring:40That you may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy to your God.41I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD your God.
Deuteronomy 6 : The Greatest Commandment (Matthew 22:34-40; Mark 12:28-34)
1Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that you might do them in the land where you go to possess it: 2That you might fear the LORD your God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command you, you, and your son, and your son’s son, all the days of your life; and that your days may be prolonged. 3Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with you, and that you may increase mightily, as the LORD God of your fathers has promised you, in the land that flows with milk and honey.
4Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: 5And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.6And these words, which I command you this day, shall be in your heart: 7And you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up. 8And you shall bind them for a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 9And you shall write them on the posts of your house, and on your gates.
10And it shall be, when the LORD your God shall have brought you into the land which he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give you great and goodly cities, which you built not, 11And houses full of all good things, which you filled not, and wells dig, which you digged not, vineyards and olive trees, which you planted not; when you shall have eaten and be full; 12Then beware lest you forget the LORD, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. 13You shall fear the LORD your God, and serve him, and shall swear by his name. 14You shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you; 15(For the LORD your God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the LORD your God be kindled against you, and destroy you from off the face of the earth.
16You shall not tempt the LORD your God, as you tempted him in Massah. 17You shall diligently keep the commandments of the LORD your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he has commanded you.18And you shall do that which is right and good in the sight of the LORD: that it may be well with you, and that you may go in and possess the good land which the LORD swore to your fathers. 19To cast out all your enemies from before you, as the LORD has spoken.
TEACH YOUR CHILDREN (Ephesians 6:1-4)
20And when your son asks you in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which the LORD our God has commanded you? 21Then you shall say to your son, We were Pharaoh’s slaves in Egypt; and the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand: 22And the LORD showed signs and wonders, great and sore, on Egypt, on Pharaoh, and on all his household, before our eyes: 23And he brought us out from there, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he swore to our fathers. 24And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day. 25And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the LORD our God, as he has commanded us.
Matthew 22 : The Greatest Commandment (Deuteronomy 6:1-19; Mark 12:28-34)
34But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.35Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, 36Master, which is the great commandment in the law?37Jesus said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. 38This is the first and great commandment. 39And the second is like to it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
1 Corinthians 7 : Live According to Your Calling
17But as God has distributed to every man, as the Lord has called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches. 18Is any man called being circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised. 19Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God. 20Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called. 21Are you called being a servant? care not for it: but if you may be made free, use it rather. 22For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord’s freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ’s servant. 23You are bought with a price; be not you the servants of men. 24Brothers, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.
JOHN 14 : JESUS PROMISES THE HOLY SPIRIT (Joel 2:28-32; John 16:5-16; Acts 2:1-13; Acts 10:44-48; Acts 19:1-7)
15IF YOU LOVE ME, KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS.
16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither knows him: but you know him; for he dwells with you, and shall be in you. 18I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 19Yet a little while, and the world sees me no more; but you see me: because I live, you shall live also. 20At that day you shall know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. 21HE THAT HAS MY COMMANDMENTS, AND KEEPS THEM, HE IT IS THAT LOVES ME: and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. 22Judas said to him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world? 23Jesus answered and said to him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our stayed with him. 24He that loves me not keeps not my sayings:and the word which you hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me. 25These things have I spoken to you, being yet present with you. 26But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatever I have said to you.
27Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you: not as the world gives, give I to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. 28You have heard how I said to you, I go away, and come again to you. If you loved me, you would rejoice, because I said, I go to the Father: for my Father is greater than I. 29And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, you might believe. 30Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world comes, and has nothing in me. 31But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.
1 JOHN 1 : OVERCOMING THE WORLD
1Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loves him that begat loves him also that is begotten of him.
2By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
3For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
Jesus’s Sermon on the Mount clarified the commandments even further.
Matthew 5 :The Sermon on the Mount
21You have heard that it was said of them of old time, You shall not kill; and whoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: 22But I say to you, That whoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whoever shall say, You fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. 23Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has ought against you; 24Leave there your gift before the altar, and go your way; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. 25Agree with your adversary quickly, whiles you are in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver you to the judge, and the judge deliver you to the officer, and you be cast into prison. 26Truly I say to you, You shall by no means come out there, till you have paid the uttermost farthing.
Adultery (Leviticus 18:1-30)
27You have heard that it was said by them of old time, You shall not commit adultery: 28But I say to you, That whoever looks on a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart. 29And if your right eye offend you, pluck it out, and cast it from you: for it is profitable for you that one of your members should perish, and not that your whole body should be cast into hell. 30And if your right hand offend you, cut it off, and cast it from you: for it is profitable for you that one of your members should perish, and not that your whole body should be cast into hell.
Divorce (Deuteronomy 24:1-5; Luke 16:18-18)
31It has been said, Whoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorce: 32But I say to you, That whoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causes her to commit adultery: and whoever shall marry her that is divorced commits adultery.
Vows (Numbers 30:1-16)
33Again, you have heard that it has been said by them of old time, You shall not forswear yourself, but shall perform to the Lord your oaths: 34But I say to you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God’s throne: 35Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. 36Neither shall you swear by your head, because you can not make one hair white or black. 37But let your communication be, Yes, yes; No, no: for whatever is more than these comes of evil.
Love Your Enemies (Leviticus 24:17-23; Luke 6:27-36)
38You have heard that it has been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: 39But I say to you, That you resist not evil: but whoever shall smite you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also. 40And if any man will sue you at the law, and take away your coat, let him have your cloak also. 41And whoever shall compel you to go a mile, go with him two. 42Give to him that asks you, and from him that would borrow of you turn not you away.
43You have heard that it has been said, You shall love your neighbor, and hate your enemy. 44But I say to you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which spitefully use you, and persecute you; 45That you may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he makes his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46For if you love them which love you, what reward have you? do not even the publicans the same? 47And if you salute your brothers only, what do you more than others? do not even the publicans so? 48Be you therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Revelation 22 : Jesus is Coming
12And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and fornicators, and murderers, and idolaters, and whoever loves and makes a lie. 16I Jesus have sent my angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. 17And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that hears say, Come. And let him that is thirsty come. And whoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
Anyone who knows me knows I am not a great communicator, but I know there is reason I have been led down the path I have been and seen the things God has allowed me to see. I felt in my heart this is what He has called me to do, and I pray that it will help comfort those who are tired and weary like I am, knowing that our redemption is near. I pray it will help sort through any confusion and will allow you to pull down any strongholds you might have.
As John the Baptist prepared the way, I prepare that we begin to start preparing our hearts. I spent the first 30 years of my life trying to be somebody. The past 8 years realizing I was nobody. Recently, realizing what He can do with a nobody. I pray this will comfort those looking for redemption and serve as a warning for those who aren’t.
2 Corinthians 13 : Examine Yourselves
5Examine yourselves, whether you be in the faith; prove your own selves.
Luke 3 : The Mission of John the Baptist (Isaiah 40:1-5; Matthew 3:1-12; Mark 1:1-8; John 1:19-28)
1Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judaea, and Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip tetrarch of Ituraea and of the region of Trachonitis, and Lysanias the tetrarch of Abilene, 2Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came to John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness. 3And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins; 4As it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare you the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. 5Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth; 6And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.
7Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who has warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say to you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children to Abraham. 9And now also the ax is laid to the root of the trees: every tree therefore which brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
10And the people asked him, saying, What shall we do then?
11He answers and said to them, He that has two coats, let him impart to him that has none; and he that has meat, let him do likewise.
12Then came also publicans to be baptized, and said to him, Master, what shall we do?
13And he said to them, Exact no more than that which is appointed you.
14And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do?
And he said to them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages.
15And as the people were in expectation, and all men mused in their hearts of John, whether he were the Christ, or not; 16John answered, saying to them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I comes, the lace of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire: 17Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.
Jesus commanded us to
Love God
and Love others.
Loving God however, means keeping, observing, and doing His commandments which is left out in many people’s theology, as is “Fearing God”
Not keeping His commandments
=
Not abiding in His Love
This is the charge against the church of Ephesus
They left their first love, which is to love God.
Revelation 2 : Message to the Church in Ephesus (Acts 19:8-12)
1To the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things said he that holds the seven stars in his right hand, who walks in the middle of the seven golden candlesticks; 2I know your works, and your labor, and your patience, and how you can not bear them which are evil: and you have tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and have found them liars: 3And have borne, and have patience, and for my name’s sake have labored, and have not fainted. 4Nevertheless I have somewhat against you, because you have left your first love.5Remember therefore from where you are fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come to you quickly, and will remove your candlestick out of his place, except you repent. 6But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate. 7He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit said to the churches; To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the middle of the paradise of God.
The Rich Young Man asked Jesus, WHAT DO I LACK TO INHERIT ETERNAL LIFE?
16And, behold, one came and said to him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?17And he said to him, Why call you me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if you will enter into life, keep the commandments. 18He said to him, Which? Jesus said, You shall do no murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, 19Honor your father and your mother: and, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 20The young man said to him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet? 21Jesus said to him, If you will be perfect, go and sell that you have, and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. 22But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions. 23Then said Jesus to his disciples, Truly I say to you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. 24And again I say to you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. 25When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? 26But Jesus beheld them, and said to them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible. 27Then answered Peter and said to him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed you; what shall we have therefore? 28And Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you, That you which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, you also shall sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 29And every one that has forsaken houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundred times, and shall inherit everlasting life. 30But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.
The rich young man could check off these:
But He couldn’t check off the last one
…and he walked away sorrowful:
14And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things said the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; 15I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot: I would you were cold or hot. 16So then because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of my mouth. 17Because you say, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and know not that you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18I counsel you to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that you may be rich; and white raiment, that you may be clothed, and that the shame of your nakedness do not appear; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. 19As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit said to the churches.
In contrast, The Church of Philadelphia, those with the “Key of David”are kept from “the hour of temptation” that comes upon the whole earth.
7And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things said he that is holy, he that is true, he that has the key of David, he that opens, and no man shuts; and shuts, and no man opens;8I know your works: behold, I have set before you an open door, and no man can shut it: for you have a little strength, and have kept my word, and have not denied my name.9Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you. 10Because you have kept the word of my patience, I also will keep you from the hour of temptation, which shall come on all the world, to try them that dwell on the earth. 11Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which you have, that no man take your crown.12Him that overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God: and I will write on him my new name. 13He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit said to the churches.

Members and supporters of the Satanic Temple wheeled a statue of winged, goat-headed creature Baphomet onto the grounds of the Arkansas state capitol on Thursday to horn in on a battle over religious freedom.
The Baphomet rally protested a

after lawmakers approved it in 2015.
In May, the American Civil Liberties Union sued on behalf of four Arkansas women to remove the monument, saying it violates the First Amendment’s guarantee of religious liberty for all.

Thou shall not commit Adultery
The 10th Commandment :
Thou shall not covet (envy, jealousy)
The Woman that sits on the Beast is the city of Babylon
who is the Great Whore and Adulteress
Matthew 5 : Adultery (Leviticus 18:1-30)
27You have heard that it was said by them of old time, You shall not commit adultery: 28But I say to you, That whoever looks on a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart. 29And if your right eye offend you, pluck it out, and cast it from you: for it is profitable for you that one of your members should perish, and not that your whole body should be cast into hell.
Proverbs 7 : Warnings about the Adulteress
1My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with you.
2Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of your eye.
3Bind them on your fingers, write them on the table of your heart.4Say to wisdom, You are my sister; and call understanding your kinswoman: 5That they may keep you from the strange woman, from the stranger which flatters with her words. 6For at the window of my house I looked through my casement, 7And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding, 8Passing through the street near her corner; and he went the way to her house, 9In the twilight, in the evening, in the black and dark night: 10And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtle of heart.
Proverbs 7 : Warnings about the Adulteress
24Listen to me now therefore, O you children, and attend to the words of my mouth. 25Let not your heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths. 26For she has cast down many wounded: yes, many strong men have been slain by her. 27Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.
Proverbs 6 : Warnings against Adultery
20My son, keep your father’s commandment, and forsake not the law of your mother: 21Bind them continually on your heart, and tie them about your neck. 22When you go, it shall lead you; when you sleep, it shall keep you; and when you wake, it shall talk with you.
23For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life: 24To keep you from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman 25Lust [h2530]not after her beauty in your heart; neither let her take you with her eyelids. 26For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adulteress will hunt for the precious life.
27Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned? 28Can one go on hot coals, and his feet not be burned? 29So he that goes in to his neighbor’s wife; whoever touches her shall not be innocent. 30Men do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry; 31But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house. 32But whoever commits adultery with a woman lacks understanding: he that does it destroys his own soul.33A wound and dishonor shall he get; and his reproach shall not be wiped away. 34For jealousy is the rage of a man: therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance. 35He will not regard any ransom; neither will he rest content, though you give many gifts.
The 1st example of covetousness in the biblewas in the garden of Eden. Eve was deceived by the serpent because of covetousness and the desire in her heart
The serpent doesn’t come to you as a big red monster with devil horns, he comes disguised in a cloak of beauty, and promises to give you everything you ever wanted

The point is, ladies and gentlemen, that greed, for lack of a better word, is good.
Greed is right, greed works.
Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit.
Greed, in all of its forms:
greed for life, for money, for love, knowledge, has marked the upward surge of mankind.
And greed, you mark my words, will not only save Teldar Paper,

Psalm 27 : The Lord is My SalvationA Psalm of David
4One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple. 5For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up on a rock.

1 TIMOTHY 6 : CONTENTMENT IN GODLINESS
6But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. 8And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. 9But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT
11But you, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. 12Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto you are also called, and have professed a good profession before many witnesses. 13I give you charge in the sight of God, who vivifies all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession; 14That you keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: 15Which in his times he shall show, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; 16Who only has immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach to; whom no man has seen, nor can see: to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.
A CHARGE TO THE RICH
17Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high minded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy; 18That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; 19Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
We fall into Temptation with our eyes
by being drawn away by the
Desire | Covetousness | Envy | Lust
that dwells in our heart
Desire turns into demand
and we become convinced
that we have to have it
The Once open-handed desireturns into a christened need
We are now convinced it would be
impossible to live without it
and it is now connected to our hearts
Need forms expectationsas to what God ought to do
When you convince yourself that it is a need,
you think you’re entitled to it
and now you will judge God’s love
by his willingness to deliver it.
Disappointment leadsto anger and bitterness
We then judge God as unfaithful
and we lose our faith
Hebrews 11 : Faith is Being Sure
1Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
6But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
2 Corinthians 4 :
16For which cause we faint not;but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. 17For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; 18While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen:for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
2 Corinthians 5 :
7(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
Colossians 3 : Put on the New Self
1 If you then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God. 2Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For you are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall you also appear with him in glory. 5 Mortify therefore your members which are on the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which isidolatry[g1495]: 6 For which things’ sake the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience: 7 In the which you also walked some time, when you lived in them.

LUKE 7 :
31And the Lord said, how then shall I liken the men of this generation and to what are they like? 32They are like to children sitting in the marketplace, and calling one to another, and saying, we have piped to you, and you have not danced; we have mourned to you, and you have not wept.

Ha! I nursed him through two divorces,

I’ve warned him, Kevin.
I’ve warned him every step of the way.
Watching him bounce around like a game.
Like a wind-up toy.
Like 250 pounds of self-serving greed on wheels.
The next thousand years is right around the corner.
Eddie Barzoon…Take a good look, because
he’s the poster child for the next millennium.
You sharpen the human appetite to the point
where it can split atoms with its DESIRE.
You build egos the size of cathedrals
Fiber-optically connect the world to every eager impulse.
Grease even the dullest dreams
with these dollar-green,
gold-plated fantasies until every human
becomes an aspiring emperor,
becomes his own god.
Where can you go from there?
As we’re scrambling from one deal to the next,
who’s got his eye on the planet?
As the air thickens, the water sours,

6Flee out of the middle of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD’s vengeance; he will render to her a recompense. 7Babylon has been a golden cup in the LORD’s hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad. 8Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: howl for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.
12Set up the standard on the walls of Babylon, make the watch strong, set up the watchmen, prepare the ambushes: for the LORD has both devised and done that which he spoke against the inhabitants of Babylon. 13O you that dwell on many waters, abundant in treasures, your end is come, and the measure of your covetousness.
Revelation 18 : Babylon is Fallen
9And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall mourn her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning, 10Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is your judgment come. 11And the merchants[g1713] of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buys their merchandise any more: 12The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, 13And cinnamon, and odors, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. 14And the fruits that your soul lusted after [g1939] are departed from you, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from you, and you shall find them no more at all. 15The merchants[g1713] of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, 16And saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! 17For in one hour so great riches is come to nothing. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off, 18And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like to this great city!19And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.
23And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in you; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in you: for your merchants[g1713]were the great men of the earth; for by your sorceries were all nations deceived.

When Moses led the Israelite’s out of slavery,

Psalm 23 : The Lord is My Shepherd
1The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters.
Temptation occurs because of the lust
and envy that dwells in us.
Once acted upon we are breaking the 10th commandment.
The waters we are in don’t quench our thirst.
We are constantly chasing after the illusion.
It’s not a question of enough, pal. It’s a Zero Sum game
– somebody wins, somebody loses.
Money itself isn’t lost or made, it’s simply transferred
from one perception to another. Like magic.
This painting here? I bought it ten years ago for sixty thousand dollars.
I could sell it today for six hundred.
The illusion has become real, and the more real it becomes,
the more desperately they want it.

Psalm 98 : the Rock of Our Salvation!
6O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.
7For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if you will hear his voice,
8Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
9When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.
10Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:
11To whom I swore in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.

Matthew 6 :
24No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.
Matthew 6 : Treasures in Heaven (Matthew 13:44-46)
19Lay not up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust does corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:20But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust does corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
What God Requires from Us?
DEUTERONOMY 10: A CALL TO OBEDIENCE(Joshua 24:14-28)
12And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, 13To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command you this day for your good?
I pray this will help feed those who are hungering. After having gone down endless rabbit holes, headaches, and confusion, I pray the following will help to dramatically simply the confusion, clarify, and comfort for any of those looking for redemption and how this all fits into God’s redemptive plan. The recurring question in my mind started to become “What does God want from me?” What am I supposed to do, or be doing? What is God’s will for my Life? What does He require from us? I have heard many others ask the same thing recently. Thankfully, there is a real easy answer.
To Fear Him
Keep His Commandments
To Love others
